I'm looking at the Gucci Ultra Violet mono and maybe the Serpentine Envy quad, but in some swatches the two dark shades look very close. And Amorosa and maybe Insoumise from Collection Méditerranée, if I can.

I shouldn't have picked up a brush yesterday. I'm back to wanting all the TF brushes.

And yes, I know Hakuhodo are just as lovely and I have a good number of them, but there's something about the TF aesthetic.

Is it a bad sign when I was pleased that my total yesterday was under $300?

Brushes are an investment! I love my TF brushes.

Went to Neiman's yesterday. My TF expert allowed me to have her samples of the Summer 2015 used on me. The eye/cheek palette is lovely. The cream blush is to die for. No issues with it not drying down or whatever the reviewer said about it awhile back. Skinny Dip on me was more orange then pink. The Rose lip, that's a OMG one. Neiman's is close to 80% sold out on pre-orders alone. So anyone sitting on the fence post. If you snooze you will loose. I compared Spring 2015 to the new shadow that again one reviewer is claiming is Spring 2015. To me, close but not the same. I also learned to use the TF concealer brush for application of cream shadow, then press the dry shadow with a fingertip over the cream. Outstanding, all of it. The two tones of blush are not the same colors in the blush powder duos from Fall 2014. Same idea, but lovely alone or used together. Body oil has a shimmer of silver and gold, just lovely.

I made my final decisions on the summer collection.

I'm allergic to the cream shadows, so they're all out. I don't use body oil, so that's out.

I already pre-ordered the large palette. Check.

I'm going to pass on the cream blush, but I am possibly going to pick up the lighter mini bronzer (NBD since they're permanent).

I already own Paradisio from last year, and the other Sheers don't excite me. Done.

I do have a long list of permanent items though!

I looked GUV up---it's beautiful. I'm terrible w/monos---palettes just require much less thought on my part.

The Serpentine palette has interesting colors. Decisions, decisions!!!

I'm enjoying Amorosa because the color cn be intensified by lining and filling the lips w/a lip pencil. RCS Insoumise is very pretty.

@ashievic any chance you would know if the blushes in the eye & cheek palette contain bismuth oxychloride? I can't wear his shimmery blushes because of that

and if these are a different formula I'd love to try the palette but should skip if not.
