I guess this confirms what we already knew.. :sigh:

I use it to take the powdery look away after I'm done with my makeup. Also if I'm sweaty and gross in the summer it can be refreshing to just mist it whenever.I have never tried the Prep + Prime Fix +, how does everyone use this? Before or after makeup applicaiton??
that's exactly how I use it too!! I also use it before i apply and spritz my brush AFTER I've applied powder foundation n sweep it on my face too!I use it to take the powdery look away after I'm done with my makeup. Thanks so much for the review. My Rose should arrive today and I am going in store to check out Yuzu. I think I'll be good with those two. I have noticed since these were announced I have been a lot more generous with my Fix +. Maybe I am subconsciously trying to get through mine to help justify paying $50 for two bottles of scented water.I just tested these in store. The cucumber triggers my memories of eating sushi for some weird reason. Coconut smells rather lotion-y but it wasn't bad. Lavender was ok but not as I expected. Rose also reminds me of something I've smelled before, maybe a drugstore product? It wasn't overly floral or anything, it was just right. They are all nice but I took home yuzu as it was the most pleasing for me. Fresh, citrusy, not overwhelming. I think I'm done with the collection. I don't feel like I need to hoard. I will be happy with the original even if these sold out.![]()
I just noticed over the weekend that I have a little less than half left of my bottle. I may get one of these. Still not sure which fragrance to get. Leaning towards Cucumber...I need to catch up on posts to see which are the hits. OMG love the Avon setting spray! I was surprised when I first tried it last summer. After I finished my bottle of Fix + I bought organic rosewater and then I purchased two bottles of Evian spray both work just as good. Fix + doesn't set my makeup so I just used it for my brushes and to take away that powdery makeup look. I've purchased the Avon setting spray twice & I really like it even better than UD.
I'm think I feel the last sentence you said. I want a scent but do I really need a scent lol especially if the smells aren't stronglavender smells like a typical bath n body works type lavender vs a more organic lav scent and coconut is just eeeeh coconut. the scents dnt bother me but the regular scent i'd be just fine with honestly!!
I'm going to try Yuzu tomorrow. My coconut and yuzu came. Yuzu is nice and refreshing, coconut is just okay. I'll use them, but won't get any more of them. I far prefer the original Fix+ scent.
Reading this just gave me an idea of whether to add a few drops of my Lavender essential oil and Coconut oil to their respective bottles. Anyone know if that would help or hurt the formula?I just received my MAC order with lavender and coconut Fix +.I don't like either one of them. Lavender smells like cheap men's cologne to me. It smells like a mild version of Chi Keratin Mist or Lush's Olive Branch shower gel. I'm not really getting a nice lavender scent, not even an artificial one. Coconut does not smell like coconut at all. It has a very very mild scent that fades quickly. I think it smells like paste, but not the good Elmer's kind- the other stink one. Plaster! That's what it is, but it is very subtle. These will both be going back and I will continue to use my original and the Mario Badescu Rosewater mist. If you like the Rose scent, you might like that mist and it's only $6-7.![]()
I really wish MAC would have used natural oils or ingredients in these. Such a disappointment.
