I'm not saying Pros don't use them, but the whole concept of the discount is so you have more of an initiative to buy their regular stock. As pros we don't NEED the LE stock - it's just nice to have. I'm assuming that's the general feeling from MAC about it.

Nah, I think they're just being greedy. I don't think they put that much thought into it. They're probably thinking that since people usually go nuts over the LE stuff that they can sell it at full price and IF something is left in 2 weeks, then they'll sell it with the discount.

Quick was not working for me when I tried to check out so that's why I called to see if they would update it and she said they may or may not do it. It just depends. I'm like its the least you can do for all this struggle I was going through with this wonky ass site. Then she tried to act like she never heard of that code.

How long were you on hold before you got someone on the phone?

I'll have to agree to somewhat disagree with you here, because for me, I feel that if I was paying for that membership, I should be entitled to the newest items first, like it used to be. I see their initiative nothing more than them offering a discount to encourage you to use their product more than other brands as a means to advertise because real pros are usually on sets, working magazines, at high volume weddings with tons of women, etc. Remember, when the discount was first offered, it was the highest discount among brands all around, and back then it was free. Mac does no one any favors. It's about money. They just want everyone paying full price as much as possible...

The load time on the new site is horrendous.

Edit: I don't think anything is sold out because no one can get through to check out or edit things in their cart...

I actually hate the look of the new site.  I loved the old one since it was so simple to navigate.

I like the look,but do miss the ease of the old site as well

Absolutely no one at Macy's Herald Sq and nothing sold out. They even have BB. Which I might add is indeed chalky looking on my hand! Yikes. NW45

Yeah I had a litpsick in my cart that I didn't want. It took me forever to take it out. The page kept jumping. It was horrible. Hopefully the same thing doesn't happen to you.

I had the same problem, gave up and just bought the extra that was in my cart. Fortunately, I cleared the bulk of my cart yesterday, but still had a dazzle shadow and an extra gloss.
