What came first the chicken or the egg? My point was, anyone who purchased the RECENT silver mirror polish from Chanel, in my limited opinion no need for both. I had totally forgotten about the Chanel silver/mirror polish. When I was at Nordy's yesterday, I knew I had seen it before. Could not remember where???? Thought it was Silver Star one. I had put the Dior on a nail and came home. As I was going through my ga-billions of nail polish, I found the recent Chanel. I then painted the nail next to the Dior, and after a few hours couldn't remember which one was which. I so do love the Nordy's Girl eyeshadow release. No regrets on that one. The formula is perfection, at least for me.
Good to hear your impressions, I have been on the fence with Nordy Girl. The mid-tone shades are not that different from each other, but the core mauve shade of the palette, the way it applies and sits on the eyelid makes such an easy and flattering look. The light shades are well pigmented and the liner shade doesn't smudge and wears well. I was thinking I should return it and hold out for Orchid Haze, but it has really won me over.

Also how would you characterize the silvers-- chrome? Is either easier or less streaky with application?

With Nordy Girl it is the darker shade I thought is just lovely, A deep wine with a touch of sparkle. I ordered this off a friends phone while in the stream in BFI. I first thought it was just a renamed 001. Wow, I was wrong.

The mirror nail polish is lovely, no problems with streaking. If I didn't already have the Chanel, I would have purchased it. It would be super if Dior did a real purple in the Revive formula. Or maybe green???? Love that formula. And the applicators enclosed with them are perfect for applying. I usually toss the enclosed applicator. Plus the instructions for idiots like me on how to apply is super.

Tonight I applied the Dior yellow polish with TF orange from last summer. Yes, one hand I do 4 nails in one color, the ring finger in another. On the other hand I switch it the other way. Love Dior polish.

The gel liner in the Revive does not melt or collect random dog hair, fuzz balls, etc. Which is why I usually run from multi products on one compact. Nothing like Newfie hair stuck in a product.

Yes, I would love a purple and a green in Reviver. I was uncertain whether I would do better to get Orchid Haze but I found it understated on me for some reason. It's a little more pink and less mauve.

I love the Dior yellow. Had it on this week. Love your way of wearing it too.

I was trying to decide between Sugar Dune and LIli-- as a backup for Lady and I am pretty well decided to go for Sugar Dune.

Cosmic is really pretty. Have you had any issues applying it?
No Cosmic applied fine with my fingers I just had to move fast since they dry so quickly. I tapped it on my lid and then let it dry fully and then blended out the edges with a fluffy brush

I own Orchid Haze, and I think I work it once. To me, nothing out of this world. For my skin tone, yellow usually makes me look dreadful. I was totally going to run from the Dior nail polish. I love it, and yes even thinking of getting a spare. Which I rarely do.....no streaking, great color, just a job well done, Dior.

At Sephoa they still had Lady. I was at a store, not online. Might want to check that out, perhaps.
Really? You saw it? That is my perfect nude. I've looked at every Dior counter everywhere-- and nada. I have one bottle from an airport store, but it's only 2/3 at this point. I was actually painting it over the Sugar Dune as a top coat to make it last.

I love the Dior yellow too. Lemon yellow is my best yellow-- along with any green leaning yellow-- because it is slightly cool. Also the formula is great. Never seen another yellow like it. And it is just so fun for summer. I tried the YSL yellow which has an intensity I loved but it is not flattering on my skin. Plus it is NYC cab colored and I took a photo of my nails with the taxis in the background and it is exactly the same color. That would have been great for a black tipped French. But it's not my color.

Except for greens, and pale lemons and golds, I stay cool for the eyes. But the exception for me is the Shu Palette. It has a lot of wearable, pale neutral warms which I cannot pull off in any other palette. For people who can wear more vivid warms, it is less interesting, but those who tread lightly with warm e/s might love it. Not sure if that is you, but I mention it just in case.

Glad to hear your feedback on Orchid Haze. I had a hunch I wouldn't get as much use out of it as I would with Nordy Girl. I didn't get to the counter to try it until dusk so I could not get a good day light read on it, but in the store lighting, it was like invisible on my face.

Thanks, this is excellent. 655 is the one that speaks to me most but not sure whether it is unique enough.

The collection will be up on Escentual on the 29th

I tried the eyeshadow again a couple of days ago. Applying with the brush and then blending (not only the edges) with a fluffy brush - (reallyree) - works the best for me. One layer for a simple everyday look, two layers for an intense one. That's how I apply the eye tints but they are much easier to work with. I also tried to "paint" my lid, blend the edges and let it dry, but that was a disaster. I'll wear it tonight and I'll post pictures.

Monsy's swatch of the illuminating powder was so lovely but Dior hasn't responded to either of the emails I sent (one a week ago, the other three days ago) so I'm iffy about trying to get it
