I've just sworn off Zifty as my compromise for getting Love Bruise (plus some Charltote Tilbury matte lipsticks).
I just got some of her mattes two, a few TF goodies, and the new YSL Primer... And unfortunately that's just from Nordies

I have no idea if I would need the Alabaster...but I really really love the looks of ivory fawn! Maybe like the Marilyn BP?

It says it does a soft blur .............I'm so into that.

Are you talking about the new Illuminating Powder? I did, I got the new Pink one last week and I honestly don't love it.

Is it Illuminating or translucent powder? I don't know whether to be disappointed or relieved  Naked looks pretty. Thanks for the pic!
Sure! The name is "Illuminating Powder" and the shade is "Translucent Pink 02." The makeup artist at the TF counter made it a point that this wasn't illuminating in any way, despite the name, and that it's a translucent setting powder. It doesn't illuminate in anyway, there aren't any sparkles or shimmers or anything like that. It's pretty much just a sheer setting powder.
Thank you !!! One less thing to look at :amused:
Lol, right?! You may like it! But it just didn't work that well for me, unfortunately. I really wanted to love it.

I don't think the original Illuminating Powder got very good reviews, so I guess this isn't surprising. A lot of people either didn't like it or said it was no better than other, much cheaper powders. Glad you shared your experience with it. Out of my cart it goes!

Np! Oh, I had no idea about bad reviews regarding the other shade. Good to know that it's not just me. I read a few reviews on this new shade & suggestions to use it as an under eye setting powder as opposed to all over. I may just Try it that way bc I have way too many other setting powders that I love to use this one.

As I have said before, the yellow one was not workable for me or my Mom. We both use Alabaster powder for setting. Also, since it appears that it is already out of stock at most stores. I will share what I know for a fact. I hate to help the lurkers of eBay in any way, shape or form to have a heads up. TF has decided to "retire" the stick foundation in Alabaster and Pale Dune. The liquid foundation is these shades will continued to sold and made. There are four new shades coming out in the stick foundation. The lightest one is to replace Alabaster and is suppose to be more lovelier then this was for the Pink Casper's of the world.

This is NOT conjecture, this info is factual. My Mom has spoken to numerous sources and they have assured not to chase any remaining stock of the Alabaster stick foundation. Based on the new shade will be just fine. The new shades will be released "shortly".
