That's how I feel, but my berry-lovin' self will probably pick up FR anyway. I also like the look of a couple of mattenes, but do I NEED them? Probably not. Maybe one to try the formula since I came to MAC after the last release of those.

T listed the prices as $16.50 and said that's what her press release said...did they give in and lower the price or is it just a mistake?

Was looking at my recent orders; MAC only charged me $16 for How Tropical from VAT collection. I'm wondering if the fact that this collection is connected to a contest affects the prices? Or even if MAC will stock it to last longer?

Just checked out T's swatches for the x9 palette and I think I'm going to pick it up. It's really pretty for fall.

T's swatches were helpful.
Lipsticks: I already have Fashion Revival. Sadly Self-Aware is too warm for me. Diva Antics is my kind of red, but since i rarely wear red and i already have 3 i like, i will skip [probably]. And i don't wear orange.
Mattenes: Absolutely *must* have Power My Spirit and Own The Loot; debating Strutting Fabulous, will have to test
Patent Polish: not very excited, might get Look Lively and/or My Flip Side; are there swatches anywhere?
Eyeshadows: Wasn't sure about the eyeshadows, but now i like Cheer Me On and Well-Behaved
Paint Pots: Only interested in Frozen Violet, but if it's still perm, can skip for now; already have Stormy Pink
Nail Lacquers: No longer want them
So that's 2 sure things, and 5 maybes.

Frozen Violet is permanent, so you can get that at any time. :nods:

It is really beautiful! I haven't bought any regular MAC shadows in a long while and I can see myself using this palette all the time!!
