Wow! Thanks! :) Sad that the two lipsticks I want the most are lustre :(

^ Same why ruin a unique shades with Lustre finish.. they're going to end up looking sickly on the lips.... sigh.

Uggggh, I'm so pissed, the colors I would have liked to be matte, aren't. Who doesn't already have a matte pink, lavender or red?? Seriously MAC?? Are they afraid people aren't bold enough to buy matte in yellow or turq?? They need to keep up with the indie brands and how they sell out.

Was super geeked about this collection but the more I am looking at it the more I am ready to pass. Dont get me wrong the packing is beautiful but I feel like that is what is making me want this collection.

Super sad that Cloud Gait and Gold XIXI are lustres. I would have loved fully opaque lipsticks. Sure I have a lot of blues and turquoises already, but not one from MAC! I'll definitely be getting Plum Princess, but not sure on the other two now, which is sad since those were "definites" for me before.

I'm not really interested in any of these colors but I will probably but the pressed powder just for the packaging. I'm a sucker for packaging:doh:

Lustres are fine by me. Summer Shower lipstick, which was sheer aqua with lots of blue dazzle, came out in the Fashionflower collection in May 2011, and i've been kicking myself ever since that i didn't get a back-up. Yes, it was sheer, but it was beautiful and very wearable. I think a bit of sheerness adds visual depth to certain colors that makes them look better on humans who are not models. I have some very opaque blues, and, as much as i am happy to wear blue and teal lipsticks, the pale opaque lipsticks, and especially "odd" colors in mattes, well, for me they are not as easy to wear. And i wear Peacock-y to the supermarket without a second thought.

My biggest worry is that the collection might launch when i am camping for 10 days in an area that doesn't have any cell phone towers anywhere nearby. And i really want *eight* items from this collection !!! I got some stuff from the Future MAC collection, and that's the first time i bought anything this year, first since i got those gorgeous eyeshadows from the Faerie Whispers collection in December. Most of the collections just haven't been doing anything for me so far. So i REALLY do not want to miss Chris Chang!

As wonderful and lovely as the packaging is, my goodness those colors are unimpressive. Even the red looks bland.

But yeah, I've really been bored with MAC...hence why I haven't been posting as much. I only visit Specktra about once or twice a week. :(

I've been into a liquid lipstick kick of late and been venturing into other brands more and more. I did finally get MAC's Dance With Me. I love it!
