This also reminds me of stalking days of old but with much more pressure. I’ve never seen a collection disappear as fast as this one from department stores. Did anyone happen to notice if Specktra had ‘extra’ visitors last night? I can’t imagine that those who are new to the world of MAC would be up at 3:00 in the morning stalking Nordstroms, Bloomingdales, etc . They would probably think that it would launch at a decent hour! :rofl:


Does anyone know when MAC will send out corrected invoices for the presale? I have a charge on my account that I can’t figure out and it looks like MAC didn’t even take out what they had originally charged me (the items + the shipping). I don’t want them to keep a hold on money that I could use for something else.

How soon would Nordstroms send out cancellation/back order emails? :pray:- please. please go through.

I think that I have what I want from this collection (except for BBBB-not holding my breath that it will be in stores). I only want to into the stores to swatch......

All right, one last post before I start working-

MAC has removed the mention about BBBB being available at other retailers from the MAC website.

Yes, they only ship to Canada. But u can use a US credit card so I ordered DOY for my sis and shipped it to her. It actually worked out better because she'll get it directly, and I didn't know they could do that but happened to try after it sold out here.

Lmaoooo! Yeah you can't be clean if you want limited edition makeup ;) No but seriously, it flew off the shelves everywhere else so it was only natural.

Thanks for letting us know that it works as a contour on NW45 skin. I was hesitant towards purchasing the Techno Cumbia duo initially because I was unsure of how Blunt (the Techno Cumbia side) would show up on NW45 skin, but the general consensus that I've read from reviews online did say that it does work as a good contour on our skin and hearing your confirmation makes me so happy that I got it.

I have Blunt and as a NW45 it is not a good contour for me. It works better as a blush and even better as a transition eyeshadow color. I understand how some use it as a contour but it doesn't work that great for me.

Thanks for tips on how to use Blunt just in case it doesn't work as a contour shade on me. I'll try it as a blush and as a transition shade to get further use out of it whether it works as a contour shade or not.

I understand. I had all the items I wanted from the Taraji collection in my cart but was in the middle of a store and didn't have time to check out. I kept getting sidetracked that day and finally, one of the items sold out. Of course I couldn't buy one MSF without the other so it too sold out. Now, I am Tarajiless and my hope of MAC ever restocking those MSFs is slowly dwindling.

I dropped the ball with Taraji HARD. First I didn't even know she was coming out with a collection, then didn't think it would sell out and thought I had time. I now check daily for a restock and when MAC's website was going berserk on Saturday it showed "add to cart" for her powders, but it was an illusion. The only consolation is a few of my blushes are close to TG as per Temptalia...ColourPop Bardot, Clinique Cola Pop, MAC A Little Lusty (don't understand that one).
