So I rode my bike for 10 miles with the MUFE black liner on my waterline & Walnut blended out as a shadow & they lasted nicely. The black waterline had some fading on the outer eye corner but I did have a bug fly under my sunglasses & I had to rub it off my eye so maybe it was the bug that wore it off

Lucky you have a generator Elegant, and glad there wasn't much damage to your property. 4 tornadoes came through CT about a week ago and some people STILL don't have power back.
Also glad the NARS balm works for you!

I'm SOOOO happy to have electricity today! We had a severe storm come through here around 5pm. Hail & a tornado :shakehead: that took out the neighbor's tree behind & to the side of us, transformers where blowing up, catching fire & the electric lines fell into the trees all the way back behind us catching the trees on fire, took out two trees across the street from us & taking out another power pole. The whole neighborhood was in our back yard watching the fireworks. Fire trucks everywhere. No one's cell phone worked but mine (which is crazy) to call 911. Thank goodness we have a generator to keep the fridge going. The whole little town looks like a disaster area - everywhere. I feel so lucky that we only had a small topiary tree ripped half way out that we were able to shove back into the ground. We spent the whole evening cleaning our elderly neighbors huge property up. Crazy, scary stuff.

On the bright side, I'm getting 2 Sephora orders today & Fedex delivered the cutest jumpsuit to me this morning :icon_cheers:

Oh my gosh I just saw this now! Thank goodness you are safe! I honestly have never had to deal with storms of such a magnitude- I can't imagine. Devastating is right. It is so great that you could help out your neighbors. Glad you are looking on the brighter side:heart:

Oh man 4 tornadoes! That's awful. I was so afraid that our power would be off for days. I had just done a full grocery run so the freezer & fridge were full. My sister lives really close to us but they didn't have power either so I'm not sure what we would have done without the generator. Funny thing...hubs & I were laughing at each other because we kept flipping light switches anyway LOL. Yes, I really love how the balm makes my lips look & makes them very soft.
Thank goodness you're ok elegant. That's a frightening thing to go though.

Monsy, that blue is gorgeous on you.

Thanks dear! Winthrop & I have both been through it before with trees hitting our homes. It is incredibly frightening to go through.

Awful!!! The beginning sound alone is terrifying & then it's over so quickly. I'm sick of picking up branches & leaves because my back & legs hurt. Wine has been a wonderful help at night :p

So far this year we've not had any limbs big enough hit our house to do damage. A few years ago we had a big tree struck & land on the house. We had to put a new roof on amoung many other repairs. Last year a limb went through the roof of our front porch. It was kind of stabbed there, coming about 3 feet through & side ways above. Another big limb landed on the garage. There wasn't a lot of damage to the roof but knocked the gutters off the house. Most of the time it's smaller limbs & trees on the house so no damage, just major clean up.

We've been lucky the tornados have skipped us through the years. But too many very close calls. One of our downstairs bathrooms doesn't have a window so that's our "safe place" to go when we get the warning. When the kids were young I'd have them put their bike helmets on hoping for a bit of protection. We'd sit on the floor with books surrounded by pillows with our helmets on.

That's terrible dear! It's good to hear it wasn't more serious. Your safe place & helmets sound perfect for these kind of conditions. I have a place like that I could go, but I'm always looking out the windows :shakehead:

Any new makeup/skin care finds?

I look out too. It's hard not to.

Has anyone tried any of the new shades of Dior Airflash? I wished they had made a shade lighter than 100. I've used Airflash in the past mixed with something lighter & liked it. But it says pink tones to choose shades ending in 4. I haven't seen any swatches. The little squares of course are useless but 104 looks dark. I'm not super pink, just lean more pink.

I'm still on the hunt for a foundation I love , not just like. I haven't tried any Charlotte Tilbury face products, not sure of the coverage. I need middle to full.

I tried the new Airflash shades! I ended up buying two and it was actually the foundation I wore for my wedding earlier this month. I will say that a couple of the shades in the 300 range are lighter than the original 300, so if you can get to a counter it might be worth it to look in person.

I'm glad to hear that everyone is safe. Tornados suck! For some reason, I find them scarier than hurricanes.

Thanks to all the MUFE pencil talk I've added 4 to my loves list. How different are they compared to the previous pencils?

Also are the YSL tint in oil being discontinued? I can only see one color on the Sephora website. I'm late to the party but I really wanted to grab one for the summer.

I believe the tiny in oils are being dc’d and replaced with the Liquid Color Balm

I played with them a week ago and they look nice not sure if some want a very liberal translation of the article but she basically says she preferred them on the lips, didn’t like them on the brows and you need to be careful on the waterline because some are not eye safe. some lack pigmentation and are patchy and if you used them on the eyes you need to set them with eyeshadow.... i want the grey purple but still undecided between MUFE or Bite lipliner

Oh no I wanted them for the waterline and I have sensitive eyes so I'm not going to chance it.

These new MUFE pencils seem creamier to me. Not so much that they slide all over the place, but they are more pigmented. Also, these can be used on the lips comfortably because they're not as dry as the old ones. I almost got the mauve one today, but I put it back because I bought the two new Huda mini palettes, but I will get it soon!
The new Pat Mcgrath lip glosses launched at Sephora today! Anyone get any?
I was thinking about getting Flesh 4(?) but they look so much more sheer than I wanted them to. I don't like gloss enough to pay that price if it's not more pigmented.

I swatched that Smashbox Cali Contour Palette today at Ulta & it had really pretty shades. I just bought it from Sephora because they had a good code to use for once.
I had 3 separate orders last week & selected a particular sample for all 3 - none of the 3 orders had it in. They included some random crap I didn't want. I called CS & they said the sample was & still is available. It's that stupid warehouse again.:shakehead:

Thank you. I will try to get to get to a counter soon. I thought perhaps when they came back that even some of the old shades might be a bit different.
