Thank you boschicka ! Yeah...color me unimpressed.

Ulta also announced it's 21 Days of Beauty dates (Sept 2 -22). There is a rumour a 20% coupon will also be offered. So while there are things exclusive to Sephora, many of my  list items are available in both. Plus, I have cash banked & a boosted Ulta g/c from eBates. I don't see myself spending a whole lot at Sephora this go around. ;)

I used to hear good things about the Nars eyeshadow primer as well but never used it. I've also fallen out of love with UD primer potion.

I actually got a generic invitation (via snail mail) to the upcoming sale with a card to present to get the discount. The horrible sales associates at my local Sephora can’t argue with that lol.

In my experience, the NARS primer is excellent especially as I have gained oily lids with age. I never quite took to the UDPP.

I received an email notification about the sale today. This is what's in my cart currently:

-Tom Ford Extreme mascara - has anyone tried this? I love Le Volume de Chanel, so that is my gold standard comparison
-PMG lipsticks in Donatella, Valletta, and Sextrology
-Chanel hand cream - anyone tried this? Bloggers like it, but I also would like free Chanel
-Clarisonic replacement brush heads
-Surratt eye shadows in Ombré and Marron
-Sunday Riley Juno
-Milk Kush mascara - also seeking opinions on this
-beauty blender
-Tata Harper Purifying and Resurfacing masks

The only definites are Clarisonic brush heads and the beauty blender. Tata Harper masks I will most likely buy. If I don't purchase the Chanel hand cream then I will possibly choose a different brand. I also will probably get the Juno oil and Milk mascara since I can purchase it in the small size. I'm up in the air about the PMG lipsticks...

I LOVE the original egg hand cream. Also, I tried the Kush mascara & didn't care for it. It smudged & really didn't do much for my lashes, but some people like it.

Thank you! I’ll definitely order the Chanel hand cream. I think I’ll end up passing on both mascaras. I just got back from a stint in Europe and purchased something like 5 Helena Rubenstein mascaras at duty free on my return journey haha

My sale list is pretty small. So far, a few Drunk Elephant products and a Beauty Blender.

FYI....the original UD Naked palette is being discontinued. It's on sale for $27.

Looking like NARS primer ftw then. Thanks ladies!

Wanted to chime in that NARS now has a new eyeshadow base. Tinted Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base, in 4 shades, $26

Not on the Sephora site yet. I am going to hold out on until it is available. I have been using the UDPP in Fix (slight tint and kind of light). I think the tint of the medium NARS would be a better match for me, plus I would really like to try it. ;)

I want to hold out as well. I want to get the two deeper shades.

I’m trying to get my list together and I too in need of an eyeshadow primer and I guess I’ll wait for the NARS eyeshadow base too as I already tried the primer and wasn’t empressed. My list is realitive small. DE products, Olaplex hair products, Makeup brushes, thus far.

What is your neighboring Sephora? I like the one at The Grove, they’re always nice whenever I stop by.
