Finally got my mufe palettes today :)
I'll post about them once I've tried them. So far, despite being cardboard packaging, they both feel quite sturdy and weighty considering.
I agree. I was surprised by that also. I did a look with pink and purple and they both worked great. I know some people said those colors weren't as good so please let me know how they work for you. I'm loving both palettes and I'm ready for Vol 3.

That's great to hear! Were the pink and purple creamy like the other shades in the palette? I'm waiting for mine to come!

I've swatched them a few times and I still think they're creamy, but I can see what others mean about it not being as creamy as the others. While they're all creamy IMO, some of the colors are like butter.

I'll try to post a swatch for you in a bit.

I didn't swatch all, but I just wanted to show the purple and pink next to some of the other colors. The purple and pink are 2 passes for intensity and the others were a single pass. Like I've said previously, those two colors aren't as opaque as the others, but I think they build up nicely.

Thank you so much for doing the swatches. I really appreciate it!!!!

I see what you mean by them not being as buttery as the other ones, but they still seem really great. My biggest concern was that I would have to pack on the color 20 times just to get it to show up, that purple will probably be the best performing purple I've had in a really long time.

Wow! God bless. I know two people that have had them. One was my employee. She lived, thank God, but she finally had to go out on disability. Both were under major stress when it happened, and recovery took a long time. Take care of yourself.
Thank you! It's still hard to focus with all the headaches and my neck still bothers me a lot, but I'm trying to be as normal as possible. I had some notes to send off to a customer with his contract today and when my fiancé was trying to explain some things over the phone nothing he said was registering in my head. I was trying so hard to listen, but I had no idea what he said. That happens to me at least 10 times a day where I'll need a few minutes to regroup and refocus. I was told that will last a few months to a year, hopefully it's just a couple more months!!

No prob! It's easier to explain with a pic. The two darker colors are ridiculously pigmented so I figured why not put them against those two. I hope you like the palette..and the pink and purple. Keep me posted!

My town just got a Sephora-- I mean, it's an in-JC Penney's one, not a full store, but considering I'm in the middle of nowhere, like... at least it's something that I don't have to drive an hour for! Of course, they opened on a Friday, so my mother and I couldn't get down to the opening day until after work hours, and all the neat freebies went fast in the early morning (in fact, I don't think they had any sample things left at ALL, not just the special grand opening sets), but on the plus side, it was a little less packed in the evening...

(I am a little bummed about missing out on the freebies, considering how broke I am at the moment-- I wound up spending more than I really should have, but some of that was for my mom and sister, so it doesn't count as blowing ALL that money on myself. And I did get a free travel pouch just with purchase, so... I can't complain)

Nordstrom has such a great return policy, and Sephora does too actually, so it sucks when people give you a hard time. The first visit was such an epic fail I wouldn't even know where to start but on the second visit I went in (against my better judgement) for a sample of Becca's SSP in Rose Gold. I politely asked for a sample and the first thing out of her mouth was "I would be happy to sample any product for you, but just to let you know, that has pink tones in it so it's going to make you ashy." Then she pumped some on her hand to demonstrate it's potential ashiness for me. Again, I politely asked for the sample. She told me I should get Topaz instead. I said I already had Topaz and I just really wanted a sample of Rose Gold. She told me I should mix them (which was my intention all along…) and FINALLY, after I asked three times, she went to make a sample. And that was nothing compared to the first visit.  :wtf:
Well, to be fair, it seems like she was trying to be helpful, not block you from getting a sample.

The purple and pink look good together.
Just look at Night Nurse! I had on some Gregory Isaac yesterday, too.
Ay-ay. Night Nurse, boy lol
