very interesting, thanks for sharing :)

I've just read two very interesting blog posts today on controlling oily skin and also using milk of magnesia. Here are the links: http://www.makeupandbeautyblog.com/skin-care/how-to-combat-oiliness/ and http://www.makeupandbeautyblog.com/skin-care/is-milk-of-magnesia-a-cure-for-oily-skin/

I haven't tried the Murad mattifier but I am using Murad's Skin Perfecting lotion and I really like it. MAC's prep & prime spf does well enough at mattifying along with everything else I use. Over the last year, no matter what cleanser I use in the evening, I also use LUSH's Fresh Face Pharmacy. For some reason it doesn't work well as the initial cleanser - almost weird and rubbery! - but as the 2nd cleanser, or with the face prepped by another one, it makes my face so smooth and clean, almost like it exfoliated the extra bits of oil off! Dont' know if you may want to try those sometime if other things don't end up working out for you.

Never try those products :( but i can ask for samples:) and once i had a bad experience with Lush products so i don't go there anymore. yesterday i used the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer before i workout and after i finished my face look good, i was actually surprised of the result because it was shiny but not super eww shiny. so i will try it again to see what happens. :)
