You may want to check out Aveda's Petal essence cheek tint in Phlox. The stick is not as wide sized as Tarte's stains. The color is really mistake proof. It is a light color and just gives a hint of color. It's like a cream in stick.

I agree with MAC's Sweet William or Ladyblush. If you are looking for a less expensive alternative, I would check out the NYX cream blushes. I love them and have never had a problem with them and I think they are around $5-$6.

After looking at all the advice you lovely ladies have given me, the overall vote is for MAC Ladyblush, so I've gone and ordered it - woohoo!

I use MACS sweetwilliam cremeblush and it looks beautiful on me and as we sound somewhat the same you might like to give it a go.

Just a note; if you get MAC Cremeblush in Ladyblush, you can wear it as the most gorgeous light, natural pink lip color. I love it to death on my pale skin.
