Man oh man do I want Metal Rock now. Shall we bombard MAC with requests?

I think so! This way, everyone!

i managed to get a brand new lightscapade a couple of weeks ago. after seeing more pics of metal rock i feel it would be silly for me to buy it because it'd be way too dark for me! pleasureflush is a different story though!

And i think she said not everything is a done deal or set in stone so who knows what they may eventually do! HerGreyness posted some pics a few pages back but says that nothing is 100%, they are just samples for her to test out and let them know what she thinks. Isn't that the world's greatest job or what???!

It would make sense for it to be a spring/summer collection, because late spring/early summer is when DC also ramps up for its summer "event" stuff. Wonder Woman's 70th anniversary is next year, and I imagine they will be doing something for it (like putting her back in the bathing suit -- oh, the cynicism of a comic fan!), so it seems like there could be some cross-promotional PR potential there.

My boyfriend is usually pretty cool with my makeup obsession, but he will hate MAC if they do a Wonder Woman collection -- it will be my two obsessions combined!

At any rate, I hope we have some early notice if this collection happens. Because I will have to save. A lot. Because I. Will. Buy. Every. Single. Piece. Even if I already own it.

Unless the packaging has her "new" costume. (Hey, Jim Lee, the '90s called and they want their jacket and choker back.) Then I will boycott the entire thing no matter HOW lovely the products are. And there will be much nerdrage from me -- MAC may even get a nasty letter!

That new costume is so bogus, isn't it! Someone in this thread called it a "hooker going to court" outfit, which is so pathetically true

Ugh, I totally agree. I don't understand why people feel the need to "update" things all the time. Classics are just that for a reason...some should remain untouched. Grumble.

Thanks for the swatches and the comparison. If I thought Warm Blend was dark, then Metal Rock is gonna be waaaay too dark for me. Is it as shimmery/metallic though?

I know, it's too dark for me too, but I still want it just because it's Metal Rock! How crazy is that?

Here's some Lightscapade porn.

I agree with you all! I was a big fan of Lynda Carter back when she played Wonder Woman on the tv series. I do not like the updated WW.

Not going to lie, I know MAC wouldn't do it, but I'd be DOOOOOOMED if they released a Batman Villain collection. I'd throw in the towel, to be sure.

I'm gunna get flamed, but I think I'm the only person I know of who likes the new design. *hides* I like the jacket and the pants... I think it's a nice edge on the classic costume.

I'm about NC25, and I'd love Metal Rock MSF as a blush contour [where you use the blush AS a contour, instead of 3 different products :p]

Katie, Warm Blend makes a nice eyeshadow combination. Try it if you love brown/bronzey shadows.

precisely why they should re-release it. they don't have anything like it in the MSF range. i understand if it wasn't a huge seller before, what, 5 years ago. but imagine with all the online buzz and more WOC into makeup now would do for it. are you listening MAC!!

It is very shimmery and slightly metallic. It makes a pretty shadow.

Geez,

What I wouldn't do to get hold of Metal Rock. At least to be able to hold one and run my finger around it! Glide a 168 or 181 or 131 or 187 or 129 brush across it and gently slide it across my cheeck!

Geez, to just hold it and meditate!

That's what I did when I got hold of Stereo Rose and Marine Life.

My boyfriend thinks I'm nuts about my MSF's and ML but I don't care.

I love them!

METAL ROCK METAL ROCK METAL ROCK METAL ROCK METAL ROCK METAL ROCK!

Natalie, crazed!

I really neeeeed a cortisone shot!

I actually don't mind it. I think it's nice she's wearing pants now.
