I loveee Metal rock and cant wait for them to re promote! It was too dark even on my NC 44 skintone (i used a generous hand) but its LOVELY.. i sold my warm blend off cos it was too glittery for my liking but MR is a different story!! am not sure if Lightscapade will look good on me tho

I don't know, I'm not always a strict traditionalist. I liked the Wally West Flash and (gasp!) the Kyle Rayner Green Lantern. I loved Black Canary's original Birds of Prey costume and was sad to see her put back in the fishnets and black leather jacket. Personally, I always liked the future versions that looked more like armor, like her awesome eagle battle suit from Kingdom Come or even the Wonder Woman outfit Donna Troy used in One Year Later.
But honestly, my main objection to the whole thing is really to the women-in-refrigerators storyline. Diana deserves better. But she's had so many really awful storylines in recent years that I shouldn't be surprised.

I love Diana, but I agree with you. There's been nothing good to read of her in YEARS. I mean.. I'd love to see them do what they did with Power Girl, but I really doubt that's going to happen without it being campy and trying too hard, you know?

I think it was on Jezebel that someone put it something like this: "Just because she's wearing pants, doesn't make it feminist." I feel the more covered up look for WW is more about just that: her being covered up and more wholesome, if you will, rather than being less objectified and a strong female character.

If there were a collection made with Marilyn Manson, that would be the only time I would buy the whole collection without considering anything. What could be better - the sexy as hell Manson AND Mac? Ooooh my...!!
My bf and I just talked about how funny it would be if Mac made a neon-yellow eyeshadow inspired by Borat's bathingsuit and it would be called "Borat Bikini". I would totally get it!

I certainly hope so. I have no problem per se with the corals and golds and ambers but enough already. Let's see some cooler tones that extend beyond blue-based pinks.

Me too.. but the Warhol estate is so tied up in litigation, there would be no easy solution to it within the next few years
