Ok- I tried what you girls suggested!

I didn't have any loose powder to brush underneath, which was a shame, since i STILL got glittery bits everywhere, but not as much.

I sort of 'patted' the colour on too instead of 'brushing' it on, and that helped HEAPS! At one point, Goldenaire actually turned out so PINK that I had to wipe it to tone things down a bit! I sprayed a little bit of fix+ onto my brush after I'd picked up the pigment too, and that made it like... paint

AND... I think the colours are showing better!!

I use an old cleaned out dream matte mousse jar and fill it up with water. I dip my brush and then tap both sides on a folded square of paper towel to remove excess liquid. I pick up some pigment (usually from the lid or sides of the jar) and then pack or press it on my eye if I'm using it on my eyelid or brush/swipe it on if I'm doing a wash/highlight/crease. If it's a darker pigment like chocolate brown I usually use it dry to get the genuine color. Goldenaire looks so gorgeous if you use it wet as a wash all the way to the browbone and then add a darker (or brighter) color to only the lid. It works really beautifully with deep purples/olives! Light colored pigments such as goldenaire also look great if you sweep them (wet or dry) in the inner corners of your eyes. It makes them sparkle!
