Always love your liner.

Agree with one of the posters above, try putting a thin layer of a neutral colour eyeshadow over the base & see if it makes applying the colours any easier. If not, least you aren't hooked on expensive bases

Love your Liners..

Abt Bare Canvas, I never use BC as primer... instead I use MAC eye prep+prime... sometimes the eyeshadows can stick and sometimes don't..
when don't time is cos of my eyes' skin area are quite tired or dried, so i put extra "eye gel" than i usually apply or just leave the eye area without any makeup on to give it sometimes to rest... as well as massage it with a small roller...
Maybe you can try put extra eye cream at night or do an eye mask..

I love bare canvas, but I'm not sure why it doesn't work for you. Usually it's the amount of product used, but if you say you've got the amount down, then I'm not sure. To make it easier to blend, cover the part you put the paint on with a nude shadow, like Vanilla, in a very thin layer. Hope that helps some...

Thanks.. I'll try that. Thanks for the tip!

I can't imagine my eyes being too dry, I have oily skin! I've heard good things about prep+prime too but I'm a little apprehensive to buy it and find that it doesn't work either.. hm.. Thanks for the help though

^You can probably ask for a sample of the prep&prime though... And try it out to see if it works out!

I would swap Bare Canvas out and get Painterly... IMO it is a far superior base. Painterly has more of a texture conducive for letting the shadows stick to the lid and is more neutral ; Bare Canvas is more slick and has a lot of shimmer (nice for some looks but just not a good everyday base). Might want to give it a go before you give up on paint pots altogether!

I think I will give it a try... I've been searching around on here and so many people recommend either Painterly or UDPP (no sephora around here tho

Thanks for responding girly

I'm a total base whore... I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance AND Painterly on the daily, unless I'm using a different paint pot for a particular look. If you want to try out UDPP you really should check out eBay or amazon (or the board here!) - it's worth a couple bucks in shipping.
