If you could only have FIVE l/s (or l/g) - what would they be?

Hello Ladies - Thought this might be fun, plus I'm in desperate need of expanding my l/s and l/g collection, so I'm looking for some suggestions!!

I think this might be a challenge for Samibabe given the size of her collection! heheh

I've heard a lot of good things about Angel

so I won't be suprised to see that on many people's lists!!

Initially I was going to put TEN l/s or l/g but I thought FIVE would make things more interesting!

Btw - Samibabe, I tried Creme in your Coffee and it was waaaaaay too dark on me. Looked very bleh.

It's a pain that Baby Sparks (& all of the d/g on MAC website actually) is sold out!

These are the only MAC l/s I have:
Red She Said (blue red)
Creme Cup (pink)
What a Do! (coral beige)
All's Fair (purple pink)
Marquise'd (nude)

And one l/g (LOL):

I'm thinking of getting Lovelorn... I can pass on Angel atm because Creme Cup is very similar and I have that.

I think I only have about 14 MAC lippies atm and only the first three below are die-withouts. I'm still learning about what I like and what looks good.

Hue - great nude, glossy and very wearable
Sophisto - because it gives a very pretty sheer tint of red that is MLBB (MAC's Black Honey?) and v. natural
Syrup - another MLBB, just a pretty, subtle colour
Pure Rose - just a pretty soft pink that is easy to wear but LE

I need a good strong red to round it out, which I don't have. *hides*

Yeah, can you believe my MUA said Creme in your Coffee is for more like everyday 'work' wear? It is quite dark on me too, but I like it when my eyes are subtle..

Ali, you don't wear dark pinks, but med/light pinks? Is that the shade you are looking into expand? Lovelorn is similar to Sweetie - try both! I liked Lovelorn on me better, so got that one instead. I also like Chatterbox, which is a bit bright, but very pretty. If you like light pink in Cremesheen formula, you might like Speed Dial.

None of the d/g is perm in Oz at the mo, is it? That's always suprised me.

Yeah not really a dark pink/purple kinda gal, I like bold reds tho. Darker lippies just don't really work for me given I'm pale with dark hair. I look a little 'zombie-ish', similar effect with ultra nude lippies too.

Yeah, I probably need more med - light pinks, another red and some peachy ones.

I like Cremesheens... maybe I might swatch Speed Dial next time I'm in MAC and then "ta-dah! -

". I'm avoiding nude lustres still (Team Anti Nude Lustre). I find the amplified, satin and frost colours work better on me. Lustres don't show up enough (GRR @ Marquise'd, better with a l/l tho).

I might have to go through my lippy stash.. Ali, once you start your makeup course at Media Makeup, you will buy all those beautiful MUFE lippies in palettes!!
