TTT is super patchy, I had to use a liner all over my lip first then about two to three swipes to make it not so patchy.Same, I love me some Instigator but it is a bit of a PITA to work with. But at least it isn't a mess like TTT. Oh TTT.

That's what it does with me too, takes way too long than I want it to to not have it look a patchy nightmare on me that I never use it which is a shame because it's such a gorgeous colour.
I am starting to get TTT to work better and better. It is a patchy lipstick but it's a beautiful color. The liner helps.
It's gorgeous, but you have to fiddle with it to get it to not be patchy. It's definitely not a swipe and go lippy. I believe Butterfly Eyes said she wears TTT over Nude to make it go on properly and it does still look beautiful that way.
I do that sometimes too. I use some Instigator just thin one swipe and then TTT and it seems to be working at helping TTT hold on in one swipe.
I haven't worn mine but this reminds me of the other day, I was at an event, drunkish lol, reapplying ririwoo. It started getting all patchy! I think because my lips got kinda chapped and it started peeling? Lol it was weird, gross, and I was sitting at the table for like 10 minutes fixing it! Haha. Instigator is very smooth on my for being matte and also is some what uneven. I'm still not on board with PC.

It's a retro matte thats why. Yes its very dry. So far it hasn't broke yet for me.
What do you use? I hate when I put a balm and it comes out so sheer like a lustre!
Maybelline baby lips just a thin swipe. Or just a tad bit Vaseline just a little. I never have had issues with it applying sheer with using either of those babe.
Baby Lips is the ish for matte lipsticks.
I'm going to have to pick some up. I use the prep and prime and I like it, too. I don't know how much moisture it adds but it definitely makes mattes go on smoother.

Not sure about Target. I know Rite Aid and Wal-Mart do. They have some seriously good pigmentation for cheap balm, too.
