Thank you! That's incredibly kind of you. I remember thinking (when I was in high school) "No one I know will ever be a victim of rape. That won't happen." And sadly, every year I find out more and more of my friends have been. Who the hell thinks this is right? How can these people live with themselves?

And a side note: Every time I share something personal on this forum it is met with so much love and support. I thought I'd come here and maybe post a few times and that's it. But I love it here. I love sharing makeup stories, personal stories, and making friends. Thank you all for being a community of wonderful people.

Thank you for the support! There needs to be more people out there like you fighting to end the suffering of women. I have always had a high interest in human trafficking and only wish I could be more involved in the fight to end it.

Wow I wasn't going to say anything about what happened to me, but you pretty much just told my story because the same thing happened to me. I'm so sorry that happened to you and all the other ladies here. It's not a fun experience to feel violated, especially by someone you are supposed to be able to trust. I broke up with the guy and didn't see him out in public until six years later and it brought back so many emotions that I just got in my car and cried.

I am so sorry for both of you of what you been through. I was almost near crying for the both of you of what I read. Hugs to you both and to everyone!!

I just came on here to see updates and just want to so I am so sorry for anyone that had to go through that kind of thing but I am so happy to see you are better, stronger and still here. Life sucks sometimes and you will question why events happened but those events will hopefully make you a better person ( in no way though did any of you deserve what happened) Hugs to all of you.

Or a woman for that matter. Sad as it is to say, we sometimes are worse to one another, especially when it comes to sexual assault. I wish everyone that's shared their stories the best and thank them for their bravery. It cannot be easy.

So true. I am sure others have experienced what I did which is another woman not believing me when I told her what happened. Or thinking that I was asking for it.

I agree completely. Human trafficking is APPALLING and not talked about enough. so many people think it doesn't happen anymore! It's scary.

I hope all you lovely ladies find closure and are able to move on with your lives and may those "men" burn in hell. No one deserves to go through that no matter their age, clothing, race, life style. I love this forum because behind out love for makeup we are real people with real experiences that aren't afraid to share the good and the bad. I have told almost very few about my experiences because it's too hard. People shouldn't, but they still look at victims differently, almost like damaged goods. Hugs to everyone who shared, and everyone who hasn't, and how about just everyone here. You guys and gals are amazing.
