So I'm curious, what happens at these 'events'?
You go in and get your makeup done (we always did just eyes/lips/cheeks on customers with the collection) and then you buy $50 worth of whatever you want. That's about it. No big deal really unless you want to try on the stuff before you buy it, which is a plus. Downside is that depending on when your appointment is, products could be sold out so you're SOL if you want to see a specific item on before you buy it. So if you really just want to buy something and are fine with just swatching, skip the appointment and go on the first day and buy stuff.I've never been to one myself, but I have heard you go in and they show you the collection and then try the products out on you.
I think it's worth having one in your stash, if not as a soft blush topper. It has GREAT colour payoff, and applied softly if a gorgeous blush and not too shimmery if done right. Is SR really that great? I've never seen it in person, and based on the online swatches I've seen it looks really shimmery. I'm not sure whether I should get it from this collection or not. What do you ladies think of it?
You need to keep it covered at all times! Dip and flip. Dip your brush in the jar and then flip it upside down on your counter. Then get more product and flip it upside down again. Never let it be exposed to air unless you're getting product. Same applies to paint pots.Im so excited to see the fluidlines but I have had some experience with them drying up, how can you prevent that from happening?
