Thanks dear for all the details! I am so intrigued by the mixing of product before hand. And, the lavender cc cream is calling me, so I will try it. That is a really great idea using it on the lips, I want to try that too.
The one thing he didn't use on me were the correcting Radiance serum thingies. I loooooved the violet version in the store, just tested on my hand, so I wound up buying that one too. I'm going to have to make sure I use all these things - I don't wear a full face that regularly.

Dark red vamp lips are as far as I go -- a young boy once noted that my lips looked like a liver..

They all love me at the store I go to, because I always let them do whatever craziness they please, the wilder the better as far as I'm concerned. It's great for them too, because it always gathers quite a crowd and encourages more ladies to do more shopping!

The P&P Pink Natural Radiance? I need to hear about this too. I have the Chanel Lilac & the Pink Radiance bases coming, so I am curious as to how they compare.

I would LOVE to be there with you!!!!

Yep - he carved a little chunk off with a spatula and smoothed it out on a palette before applying it to my cheeks. I can't recall if he mixed it with a little extra of one of the CC creams - pretty sure he didn't, but he was mixing up a storm on that palette of his - he'd even mix powder products right into the cream and liquid ones before applying. Something I didn't realize was he feels if you mix your products together first before applying, rather than layering them on one by one, you get better wear time overall. Makes sense when you think about it.

I'll post some info about the correctors in their thread. All the MAs at the event were going nuts over them and they really do give an excellent effect. If you're someone like me, whose facial features are a bit flat, rather than prominent, I think you'll be able to get a huge boost in volume by using a combo of these correctors, rather than traditional contouring. Can't really contour what isn't there to begin with, but especially with the violet products, you can pull an impressive amount of fullness outwards.

Hey what about Theda Bara - she wore some serious vampy lips
graucho.gif
She was also one of those wicked evil seductresses, though….

He used Sassy Moss as a base, with the greens from the new MES, Humid, Gorgeous Gold and the yellow CC on the brow bone with Lilly-White over. Then he lined the eyes with Undercurrent and mixed in Contrast to deepen it and make it even cooler. Finally, Fascinating in the water line and he cut up lashes into quarters and placed them asymmetrically on top and bottom lashes (with Opulash mascara).

On the lips, he dimmed out my lip color using the violet CC cream - which is brilliant and worked perfectly and wasn't drying. I'm going to be doing that at home a lot. Then I'm pretty sure he used Snapdragon, although I hadn't asked specifically…maybe he used a little Rose Lilly in there too. Then he used the new cute purple sparkly csg on top - love that one!

You can join me in the anti-enabling box! Not that I'm always the anti-enabler, but I definitely try to be a voice of reason when I don't think something is going to work or is going to need in-person decisions.

I LOVE old pics like this! Theda was a beautiful and seductive women, back in her day. It inspires me to re-create looks like this. She wasn't nicknamed "Vamp" for nothing! That and Old Hollywood makeup too. It's SO timeless. All that stuff just makes me swoon!

Hi everyone- here's a couple of shots of the AMAZING work my MA did on me today at the FoF event: and before and after, haha: We used a ton of different products all over the place - what particularly stood out were the new correcting compacts and CC creams - there is zero contouring - he did it all using a combo of the yellow and violet correctors underneath some very light foundation. You'd never know! For the cheeks, he used a little Fleur d'Coral lipstick underneath new Stereo Rose, so that is gorgeous too, huh! The guy is incredibly talented!!!! He's even got an interview with the woman who is the head makeup artist for American Horror Story coming up, to be her assistant when they film their season in New Orleans. I really hope it works out for him - the guy's a makeup genius and very nice person too!
Libs you are simply GORGEOUS! I always love your pics!

SO.......I caved and ordered Phlox Garden too. I thought it would complement Petal Power blush. There's just something about it, I couldn't resist. Hopefully it looks good on my eyes. Too much red and it looks like I shaved my eyelids off, with sand paper. Not a hot look. But, some people were mentioning, that it looked like Heroine in a liner form. That's what got me REALLY thinking about it. I own the lippy too. It would be cool to see, If can pull off a look with both the lippy and the liner. Hmmm. We'll see, when I get it.
