Can someone do a comparison swatch of Fleur de Coral vs Coral Bliss and Creme Cup if you have one or both? Really trying not to spend $ but if FDC is different enough from them I'll consider getting it.

Kinda glad I skipped PP. I have orgasm, and now I can use that money to buy Sex Fantasy by Nars yay!
That's so funny! I broke down and decided to get PP, even though I have Orgasm, but it was sold out at the Mac Pro Store and at the Bay, so I ended up buying Sex Fantasy instead! Completely unplanned, though. I was just revved up to buy at that point. But I think SF is probably more useful for me, anyway. I discovered that SF actually looks quite nice dusted over Orgasm.

I don't have Coral Bliss, which I suspect may be closer to Fleur D'Coral, but I do have Creme Cup. Top is Fleur D'Coral, bottom is Creme Cup. I'm an NW20 for reference :) No flash

Creme Cup is way more pink than Fleur D'Coral. Hope this helps :)

I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one that went crazy over this collection. I bought:

Heavenly Hybrid
Snapdragon
Perfect Topping
Stereo Rose
Galaxy Rose
Pagoda
Flare for Fantasy
Nectarsweet

I would guess that Altered Beige plus Swwet and Sour (or something similar) should get you close to Fleur d'Coral. Or maybe a peachy gloss over Altered Beige.

I definitely understand. That was the reason why I got the Apres Chic collection one from a blog sale. I went to the MAC store to look at the Stereo Rose from FOF collection. It is definitely lighter than the previous. I am sorry that didn't work out for you.
Yes I def sucked it's ok. I'm going to try and find that one from that collection

FOF was a huge let down for me. the only things i loved from this was the fluidlines. everything else was meh. i only snagged one lippie. the msf were not appealing at all.the eye shadows, well i didn't even bother swatch them. wallet happy for now

well said ocean.. this was not one of MAC's better collections. I only got the 2 lippies -- and they're ok, but don't blow my skirt up too much..

I bought both Stereo Rose and Perfect Topping MSF's as well as Dreaming Dahlia l/s, Heavenly Hybrid l/s and Petal Power Blush. The colors are okay but I am not really excited about them. The lipsticks look great on other people; on me, either they don't show up or appear very light as if I have nothing on. I'll wait for a more vibrantly colored collection.

I got a compliment on my lip color today. It was from a Sephora SA though. I had on Heavenly Hybrid lipstick with Plum lipliner and Playful Petal CSG.

I have worn these, but true to my method, I am fully lining my lips for coverage, and then using the lippies.

I used a colour called Purr from Senna today, lined, filled in and then used Snapdragon.. and it came out very nicely -- did not alter the colour of the ls, but made gave it more longevity.

Funny, but I've been getting great wear time with these lipsticks. I'm just not allowing myself to do more layers than I normally do with other finishes, so basically a light layer patted on from the tube, let it set then do an extra pat to two on the center of the lower and upper lips for extra definition.

They're soft and somewhat sheer, but when you turn your head just right, the colors just glow. This way, they stay really smooth on the lips and wear down evenly, without losing the color effect.

Trying to get these to look like cremesheens by over applying just wrecks the longevity and the effect. Let's just say I'm a fan. I've got most of these colors in other finishes, but I have to putter with them a bit more to prevent the clown lip look. These are really fool-proof pastels in comparison. I'd call this whole collection (and especially the lipsticks) "pretty for daytime" - a step up from the colors you might slap on to go to the grocery store, but a bit too soft for a big night out, when you'll want more drama.

Pure Decoration, FDC, Coral Bliss, Sweet and Sour.

FDC is very different to Coral Bliss. I have Creme Cup somewhere- it is a true baby pink on me, nothing like the 4 above which are all oranges.

So a MAC rep called me out of the blue today! I had called to complain about my PT when I received a beige-y one. They sent me a replacement that was only slightly better, and I ended up keeping the relacement and sending back the 1 they initially sent me. I guess they received my return yesterday and called me for feedback. After a lengthy conversation about how people feel when they get a "repromote" that isn't a true repromote and lots of suggestions on how they should handle re-released products (ie give it a different name or at least call it version 2.0) she was so nice and offered to put in a request to credit me the money for the PT I kept. I told her that I didn't want her to do that. That I was keeping the product and would use it for what it was, rather than look at it like it was the original PT. I told her that many people would probably be excited to get a newer version of a past loved product. And that this new PT was really quite lovely in it's own right. But not disclosing that it could be different due to reformulation (or other factors) people felt deceived. She agreed 100% that MAC does not and should not deceive their customers. She assured me that they value their customer's opinions and that she had taken tons of notes to pass onto to Supervisors and even Corporate! She asked if it was ok to have someone higher up contact me. Of course, I said yes! So I feel pretty good about how MAC handled me and my feelings and opinions. Even offering a free product, that I declined, was a nice gesture.

I felt a little like @elegant-one one today with the notes!! HeeHee Maybe if MAC is doing this with lots of consumers, they will improve on this behavior in the future.
