So a MAC rep called me out of the blue today! I had called to complain about my PT when I received a beige-y one. They sent me a replacement that was only slightly better, and I ended up keeping the relacement and sending back the 1 they initially sent me. I guess they received my return yesterday and called me for feedback. After a lengthy conversation about how people feel when they get a "repromote" that isn't a true repromote and lots of suggestions on how they should handle re-released products (ie give it a different name or at least call it version 2.0) she was so nice and offered to put in a request to credit me the money for the PT I kept. I told her that I didn't want her to do that. That I was keeping the product and would use it for what it was, rather than look at it like it was the original PT. I told her that many people would probably be excited to get a newer version of a past loved product. And that this new PT was really quite lovely in it's own right. But not disclosing that it could be different due to reformulation (or other factors) people felt deceived. She agreed 100% that MAC does not and should not deceive their customers. She assured me that they value their customer's opinions and that she had taken tons of notes to pass onto to Supervisors and even Corporate! She asked if it was ok to have someone higher up contact me. Of course, I said yes! So I feel pretty good about how MAC handled me and my feelings and opinions. Even offering a free product, that I declined, was a nice gesture.  I felt a little like @elegant-one  one today with the notes!! HeeHee Maybe if MAC is doing this with lots of consumers, they will improve on this behavior in the future.
Mac customer service isn't as bad as some people make it out to be! I'm glad they were there to listen to your concerns.

well said ocean.. this was not one of MAC's better collections. I only got the 2 lippies -- and they're ok, but don't blow my skirt up too much..

I returned a bunch of mineralize eye shadows with a note that they hurt my eyes. I spoke to two different people who wanted my opinion and asked me to fill out a survey. They were very concerned about a product hurting someone and really took my commnets seriously. I know that MAC can be frustrating sometimes, but I was super impressed by their customer service on this.

And way to go on making your feelings known! Hopefully it will help things in the future.

I'm glad they cared and reached out to you too. It's always a nice feeling to have someone truly address your concerns. MAC could get out of any pickle by handling things this way, rather than the way they handled some of the past collection issues by blaming the customers. It seems something has been adjusted in the MAC ranks since all that RiRi mess! Back to basics! BRAVO MAC!

lol yes she does.. she is gorgeous!

I have to work with liner so that the lippies from this collection show up on me.
Have you tried using the lavender CC cream on your lips underneath these lipsticks? That works GREAT if you want them to really pop and be bright! Plus the lips feel soft afterwards. Helps wear time too.

They aren't lip safe, so do keep that in mind.

I am in love with Playful Petal c/g!! It is so amazing!! Also, the lipsticks are also gorgeous!! Snapdragon and Heavenly Hybrid are my new favorites! As for Petal Power MB, I wore it on my cheeks and it's gorgeous but when I applied it on my cheeks, all I saw was gold flecks. Maybe I should try it as a highlight.

I really thought about getting that cg also but I got star quality and I adore it so much. I may still hunt it down

I returned naked bud because I didn't like the staying power and picked up petal power blush (which I LOVE) Such a perfect shimmery coral blush.
