MAC A Novel Romance Collection (Aug 21, 2014)

I did some comparison swatches for you, Mel33t. From L to R here's Sweet Succulence (aka the Proenza Schouler purple, which is an exact dupe), then Sin, then LK.

Then I did Smoked Purple below LK, and Nars Club Mix pencil on one side with Urban Decay's Apocalypse on the other side.

Finally Nars' Train Bleu pencil is the circle. It looks like an almost perfect dupe color wise.

They look much more red on my camera phone than irl.

So glad that everyone is loving their new goodies! I went to the counter to swatch everything today, and to my surprise, I only bought another Good Kisser--LOL! No surprise there! I actually wore GK into the store and a bunch of the girls were asking what I was wearing haha and really loved it on me, so that's good.

The quality of the products is amazing and everything is beautiful, but nothing was screaming my name (mind you, I already have a couple of things from my online purchase which I love). I thought that I would definitely be picking up a quad or two, and they are really smooth and lovely, but I passed! Go figure! More money for other collections I guess!

Got my paws on Lingering Kiss. Nice color but I certainly could have passed on it since I have so many other lipsticks like it. It will make a nice addition to my fall lippies though.

I totally caved and went into MAC again tonight to check out A Passionate Quest quad. I couldn't get Brazenly out of my head! I searched through the CB with no luck. I was able to swatch some of the permanent shades to compare to the quad but I couldn't find any exact dupes. I grabbed the last quad! I'm glad I went in today rather than waiting until tomorrow. It's so pretty!
