whew! I was SO worried that I was the only one not overly excited about this collection. I feel like I already have half of this collection sitting in my makeup drawers. Well...maybe I do....Mutiny (check!) Circa Plum (check!) Creme de Violet (check!) Shadowy Lady (check!) Odyssey (check!) Magnetique (check!) and I swear I have dupes for a lot of the rest. Unless the nail polish is really awesome in person, the pinks aren't something I have something achingly similar to (colors online can be deceptive!) or the packaging is SUPER awesome cutesy (doesn't it have roses on it?) I'm gonna skip this one. My wallet is saved! Well...no....scratch that. It's just more money going to more dazzleglasses....
I just realized I have A LOT of MAC.
Oh and I will go ahead and join in cheering Tish to not go to the MAC store/counter!

I am excited that the bp's aren't chalky!
I am dissapointed in of summer, I wish it was less pink and frosty. I was interested in silverthorn as someone mentioned it was a complex color, but I looked at the swatches again ,and it just looks silver to me.
I think my list is confirmed: Summer rose bp, rose romance l/s, and the nail laquer if I don't get the Opi dupe first.
I don't want much, but I am really excited about the few things that I do want.

I actually stumbled upon your eyeball again, so aptly named "Aquadisiac Lover." Honey, you could sport the one eye, alone, and smash it.
Aquadisiac is to my palette, as a waterhose is to a fire truck - absolutely necessary. And when Turquatic launched a few years back, I thought I would lose my ever-lovin' mind. A dash of that along the inner v, with a smidge of Jewel Blue on the outer lid and v just fills my heart with joy.
I think Mutiny would be a welcome addition to the blue family!!

The see through lip colors did nothing for me. One was a pretty pastel light rose, but there is no way it would show up on my pigmented lips.
If you have tarte's cheek stains, that is exactly what the gel blush is. For example, just a pinch is just like tarte's natural beauty.
The lipsticks were varying degrees of pink from sheer light pink to plum. Not my kind of colors, too subdued and not nude.
Of the eyeshadows that are new, I really liked Silver Thorn which on my hand had a gold/green duochrome, even though it looked straight up silver in the pot. I also liked Et Tu, Bouquet; but not enough that I HAVE to have it, you know?
The lipglasses again didn't strike me as unique either. More glittery than usual, but thats all I can really say.
The beauty powders were lovely. They looked like satin finishes in the pan, but swatched with a slight sheen. They can definitely be used as a blush on my nw15 self
If you don't have both pigments, I say invest in either the full size or samples as they are beautiful colors.
The nail polish was pretty, reminded me of a more Mauve version of the color I am wearing now, done out in deco by OPI
I will post more on my blog tonight but I hope that helps some.

I drew the same conclusion today regarding the "Double Dazzle" launch.
I don't even swatch l/g at the counter, so why in the world was I planning pick-up 3-4 of those sparkly numbers today, knowing full-well that I wear nude, mattish lips??
Nordstrom is so close to where I work, I can smell it.

Oh well I will probably only get 1 l/s and 1 l/g judging by the reviews so that's good. I am still really excited about the Quad, I should go talk to the Bay to see if they are going to get the Quad or not.

Omg gold/green duochrome in silverthorn? I am getting it! I am wearing done out in deco right now aswell, but it's much more lavendar or light pastel purple. Opi has another one which is much more similar to the mac nail laquer. I don't know its name though.
