I still love love love Classic Eyes. I'm sooooo NOT a palette girl either, but I just love it.

I wish Miss Dynamite had a little more base color though. I like it but its not my fave Dazzleglass.

And all ISNT well with my shipment, they sent me the email last night saying it was shipped (which ALWAYS means I get it the next day) and the UPS guy drove past my house laughing at me.

Figures. Tomorrow is the ONLY day i wont be home waiting for it, and its going to come.

MzFit mentioned that the teal pigment from the cool set is very different from the regular teal, so i checked it out. and i thought i'd share what i saw.

the regular one has very smooth texture. when used wet, it almost looks like a metallic greenish teal color. the one from LD set is less smooth (still quite smooth though. texture kinda reminds me of circa plum). it looks lighter than regular teal in the packaging, but actually goes on darker (at least the base color) and a lot more green. also it looks like a dark matte teal green with strong sparkly/shimmery silver sheen if that makes any sense. here are some swatches

regular teal on the left, teal from little darling set on the right. both applied dry using mixing medium as base
under direct sunlight

dear mac:
please stop releasing different colours under the same name and the same colour under different names.

How about that! Yeah I got the pig sets and when I played with the teal I thought it wasn't all that "teal" to me. Now looking at your swatches I confirm my thoughts. It's like it has more green than blue in it. Hmph

Kinda sucks that they're not the same... but I think I like the LD set Teal better... I *might* get this set, but I'm really not sure..

What are you duping the lighter color lipstick with?

The mini Teal was the main reason I wanted the Cool pigment set. It sucks it's not the same. I still like it though... but now I have to buy a full sized Teal aswell. Unless I can mix some blue or something with it?

I immediately noticed something off with teal and swatched the 2 to compare. Ultimately, none of the items in this collection impressed me after all...

Lovelorn & Creme De la Femme mixed together gives me the light color.

Hmmm maybe Romancin is a lighter version of Craving?

I am so proud of myself for skipping this entire lot of lil darlins/adorin thingies..!!! I only picked up Stark Naked bpb and Pomposity l/s from the Colour Collection of Red She Said.

Sometimes I get a feeling that my addiction is slowly dying....though I still plan to splurge on some stuff in 2009.
