im really bumed, my boyfriend said hed buy the pigments for me today, since he just got paid, and theyre sold out!! i never thought theyd sell out this fast.

oh well maybe i'll be able to get samples from someplace

So i think i've finalized my shopping list just by looking at the swatches:

-Later. pigment
-Military n/p (saw on a site there is a dupe by Nubar called Midnight Matte but don't know if they sell it in Canada)
-the purple n/p (can't remember the name but surprised that i like this one!)
-possibly I.Want.Candy gloss
-and if MAC will still do pigment samples, i want to try the lighter one but its reminding me a bit of Quick Frost so i think i may have to see it IRL.

I'm trying to find more swatched of the glosses though!

I was a little hesitant about ordering Mac's nail polishes since they cost so much but I must say the 2 colors that I did get Morning After and So Rich So Pretty are gorgeous

...I'm thinking about ordering the other one now...I also received Later and Partylicious pigments today and they are truly unique in my opinion...This was great collection although I haven't tried the lippies yet..I need a few more swatches and reviews before I order those

I'm trying to be patient while waiting for my shipping confirmation, but that usually takes 2 days. I did free shipping, cuz I'm cheap like that. I'm just worried about Later. I haven't rec'd any backorder email and all 3 of my items still say pending in my order, so I hope I'm okay. I ordered right around the same time as Monter and she said her Later. was backordered. Why do I let makeup stress me so??

I saw good swatches of Military on Shades of U and immediately ordered it when it became available on the MAC site. Gorgeous!

I just got my package! I only got Later pigment from this collection and I LOVE it. I must say, though, there isn't a complete difference between using it wet or dry. From patting it on my hand, I can tell that if you use it dry, you need to pat it on and may need to use a bit more product. Wet, it's easier and quicker with less product, but the overall look isn't a 180. My dry swatch looked way better than Temptalia's dry swatch, that's for sure. I was expecting the dry swatch to be hella ugly, but it wasn't.

In a few minutes, I'll have swatches in the swatch thread. I hope it captures the sparkle. Can't wait to wear this with Stars N Rockets.

I would call the MAC store and ask them to put stuff on hold for you. Normally I would say being there at 10am when they open would be fine but all of these sellouts make me a bit nervous.

I have called my local MAC store about 5 times in the last few days just making sure that all of my International CPs and my stuff is still there for me to pick up on Thursday. I just have this silly fear that I will get there and they can't find my order or they sold it to someone else. I know that won't happen but I am getting myself all crazy!

If you haven't gotten an email, you're probably fine. You can also check if you go to your order status on the website and click on the order number - it'll say "Pending/pending" for items you're going to get, and "Pending/Backordered" if it's backordered (or, let's face it... if you're SOL like me

)

I received an email from MAC's CS saying that everything will be restocked within a week or two.

Oh and as far as the nail lacquers go, they are not must haves. I have all those exact colors or dupes in China Glaze and OPI. Just saying.

China Glaze's Aqua Baby or Shower Together

are just some dupes and great ones too as far as formula goes.

i think sleepyhead posted a comparison of if it sparkles and pink opal in the swatch thread. they look pretty similiar!

After seeing all the swatches now, I'm thinking I should have gotten Later. Temptalia's swatch turned me off of getting it because it didn't look that great. Darn, lol.
