Pigments has always been measured by volume so some pigments are sometimes filled to the top, almost filled to the top or just at halfway. I kinda like the new pigment jars but I much prefer the original jars.

IF those are the new pigment jars that will replace all the old ones, im glad that i only have one pigment because i plan on getting more, but i will hold off now. it will save me the discomfort and sleepless nights knowing there are many different sized pigments in my kit lmao

Our site, while still listing the same picture of the original jar, says that pigments are "4.3 g / .15 US OZ". Meanwhile on the American site they are "7.5g / 0.26 oz"

Pigments in Canada are the same size as in the US.. I actually called MAC customer service a few months ago (when Push the Edge was released) and asked them what was going on because I saw the weight was listed differently... The girl pulled some stock and checked the weights, they were all 7.5g... She said it must have been a mistake on the site, and that only a select few pigments were 4.3g, but the standard size was 7.5g.. I asked her if they were changing the pigment sizes and she said she had not heard anything like that.... Maybe MAC changed the size on the site in anticipation of the change to the jars, and customer service just wasnt told at the point I had talked to them?

I am secretly wishing that these images got stretched and the pigment jars are shorter and fatter like the old ones, with just a new neck part.. lol, cause if you save the picture to a photo editor and shrink the height but not the width, they look ok... one can only dream, lol!

one thing that does confuse me though, there are no threads at the top of that jar.. what's up with that?

I hate this. HATE HATE HATE.

I wish they would just offer both babies and full size regular jars for those of us who collect and just like knowing they will never run out. I mean, seriously my Maroon already has to live in a different box than the rest of my collection because it's in the tiny vials. If they move to this new crappy, dangerous jar for everything I guess I'll have to start a new box but I am very unhappy about paying the same for less.

BOO HISS!

I mean, I have actually considered getting a fake maroon full size jar, dumping the junk out cleaning it then refilling with the tiny ones just so it matches. Not kidding.

What do you guys think?

they're my pics, and yep they're sample jars so that would be why.

I'm unsure of the new packaging, why change something that doesn't need fixing? well, I guess to include less product is the answer but it's a bit sad really!

I'm considering getting a set of fake Pigments from ebay. Just to have the containers and fill them with my "Original" Pigments!

Huh...I do not like the new pigment bottles. And I've been looking forward to these. They really suck. They're going to look so out of place with all my other pigments

They better not be.

At least MAC could have tried to not make us feel like we are being ripped off and made them at least a bit cheaper. But less product, a crappier container and the same price? Hmm, not really.
