They better not be.

At least MAC could have tried to not make us feel like we are being ripped off and made them at least a bit cheaper. But less product, a crappier container and the same price? Hmm, not really.

yes! even a couple of £'s would be something!

Please let the pigment jar not be a pull-off lid! Bad MAC, no one would be happy to pay the same amount of money for less product. I hope the weight is a mistake, we need Erin to explain because I am confused.

I only have one pigment as I am not a big fan but I really like Universal Mix here so I may purchase it. I also want a BPB at least. Getting very excited to see the swatches!

I know ya'll are mad about the piggie size, but please don't buy the fake shits off Ebay, that's just encouraging them to make more counterfeit goods, and even if it's only to keep the pigments the same size, you're spending money on the real pigments, plus the fake ones for the bottles!

A.Waste of money
B. Not environmental friendly

Definitely do not want to continue to encourage fake e-bayers. Besides, with the new change in pigment jars, I wouldn't be surprised if they increase prices since the old jars will now be "rare".

I've said it last night and things hasn't changed... I'm angry!!! I'm so HATING this!!

It's so true what Lou said... Old jars mixed with the tiny new ones... ugh!!!

And don't even get me started with the less product for same money...It's so unfair!! I would have preferred a price increase on the old jars, at least I would have understood it better... I know things usually become expensive with time, but paying the same amount of money for less product makes me feel so miserable!!!

I also really hope the pull-off lid is so not true... It will worse all of this... knowing that the chances of loosing precious pigment are huge will so discourage my pigment investment!!

And please ... do not encourage fake Ebay sellers. Selling a fake item is a crime that often involves more crimes (money laundry, drugs and even child pornography). Crime organizations don't focus on only one thing, they're involved in so many crimes, fake items is just one of them. There's a lot of violence in the countries where fake items are manufactured and distributed, there's a lot of human rights violations involved and lots of environmental damage...Getting those products is becoming an accomplice of all those things.

im totally lol'ing right now because of the whole pigment situation. Just because for so long, a lot of people on YoutTube (none of you here i dont think) were always complainging about how they never finished a full jar of pigment and how it was a waste of product. Maybe they will finish one now!

Honestly I think its disgusting that they shrunk the pigment sizes. I know they'll last forever, but that's hardly the point. The point is the jars used to be 7.5g, and now they're only 4.5g but the price isn't coming down!

Furthermore, this will cause problems for people who like to press pigments. As anyone who has pressed pigments will know, you need almost a full jar of pigments to press a full pan. So when we bought 7.5g of pigments in the past, they would yield a full pressed pan, and a bit extra. Now 4.5g in a jar isn't going to press anything. You'd probably get a half-filled pan if you tried. So this means for people who like to press pigments, they'd have to buy TWO jars instead of one previously, just to be able to press a full pan. Geesh, so much for saving money by shrinking on the size.

That's so not cool MAC, so not cool.

No she didnt, i'm not a big fan of it either lol

Its nice as a cheek highlight sometimes, and mixed with clear gloss, but as an eyeshadow i find it next to uselss with the type of looks i like to do. Im totally serious about keeping as a collectors item though since SO MANY people seem to love it lol

I am still mad about the hidden price increase too.

Out of curiosity I wanted to know how much the price will increase if the now 7.5g pigments will be 4.5g but sold for the same price.. and it is almost 67%.
wtff.gif

Would the size of 7.5g stay the same but the price would increase 67% a jar would cost $32,50 instead of $19,50.
I wonder who would pay so much more for the same thing and my guess is no one.
It is just so much easier to decrease the amount of product but keep the price... the average customer sure won't notice and those hardcore MAC addicts/lovers.. well they will buy anyway. I wonder if this is how MAC thinks.

I can't imagine what would justify such a tremendous increase. I doubt that their production costs have gone up so much that MAC made such a steep decline over the last years with the 7.5g Pigments that a 67% increase now is necessary.

The more I think about it.. the more bitter I am.

OMG, they honestly better not be pull-off lids. I'd be really pissed about that.

In fact, I do not care if it's less amount or if it's taller/skinner than the old jar, just as long as it's not a pull-off lid. I'd just stop buying pigments if they're pull-off lids, as I'd be more likely to spill them and it'd be such a waste
