MAC and Gareth Pugh Discussion

I feel embarrassed that I don't even know Lippmann. Lol. Well, I guess that's why my name is MAC-Guy rather than Lippmann-Guy.

I wonder why it's already online in the UK. UK and German release dates are the same or close most of the times, at least in the same month, I believe. And from what I heard GP will not come out before January here. I'll still keep an eye on the website though, I'd kick myself if I miss out on Strada.

I'm not throwing down any dollaz until I see everything in person. I thought this collection could be a total pass for me until a few days ago when you and Liba opened the enabling floodgates with your reviews of Elude, the pigments, and the lipglosses........
I am really curious to try it all out and see, for instance, if Deceit and Guise are truly undupeable for me (considering I own enough pigments to create just about any color in the universe). Elude sounds spectacular, but I am not crazy for powders in general (I just love my F&B texture alone usually). And outrage sounds like a dream come true, and the perfect lipgloss to wear with High Top l/s from Fafi, but I am not sure I NEED it unless it looks great alone. I am trying my damndest to cut back on my makeup addiction, so this will be my first collection where I attempt to behave "reasonably" with my purchases (since I completely failed with G&I!).

Wish me luck.........
It's online for the UK. What y'all getting?

FYI...
I put together a small order of things I "needed" and ordered from MAC online early this morning. On a whim I tried that Black Friday FREE Overnight shipping code and IT STILL WORKS!! Uh oh! Must be an oversight by MAC, but I took full advantage! So, if you need anything... may want to give it a try! For PRO's the code is PROCYBER.
Checked it again just now... and it's STILL working!

I haven't heard much love for the Gareth Pugh buffer brush. Am I the only crazy one who bought it?

I have no regrets buying it. It feels super duper soft and is slightly denser than the MAC 182 2006 couture version.
I love using it to apply setting powder and to buff out over-applied products, such as blush.

^I really want it but I'm trying to resist! I can't afford it but knowing me I'll probably give in *sigh* good thing is it should be around for awhile so theres plenty of time to decide (and save ;) )

It always seems so arbitrary what and how fast things end up at CCO's. But it's certainly nice to find some couture stuff at a CCO.

Sweet! I really love the look of the MW 187 brush from last year. Plus I just have a 187 from last years holiday coll. I'll have to check in see of the CCO in Vegas has it when I go for new years

I do hope this stuff stays around for a while.

and I'm glad I'm not the only nut-case on Specktra
