Ohhh, it says Veluxe. I see. A veluxe finish in that shade would've been lovely. The Veluxes have a nice velvet, suede texture to the touch. I don't get the impression that HK is like that. Veluxes were very similar to Matte2's.
That right there is what I wanted it to feel like

Hiiiiiii!!! Lol.. I received my box today and did some quick swatches. Umm, for the single shadows they were swatched twice with "Gameela" being the most difficult to show. Also, the quad was swatched once with the exception of "Najm El Lail" being the worst for me which was swatched 3 times and still blah...

Used a large fluffy brush to apply Hajar Karim. Totally needs to be packed on to get this color. Finger swatching for this is a fail.
I'm kinda disappointed since it does say Veluxe pearl on the box but it is dry/matte to the touch.
The back of my shadow didnt have the name sticker. Anyone else experience this?

Such a pretty green!!

i got parrot and it looks so pretty, i also got the orange one for a cp and crap i want it badly. i think im gonna have to order it. i dont have anything like it in my stash. im just afraid its going to be hard to work with. i have issues with matte shadows like mac and bobbi brown ones.
bobbi brown ones being the worst ones.

Shit i cant decide!

My rimal dahbia quad is nice. Glad I can get shades that were on my list for years like shroom and soft brown.
Everything was a once swipe deal with a small eyeshadow brush except Najm el lail. It is a nice color but needs to be built up.

It's really a Veluxe finish, tho T and everyone else mentioned it wrongly as a matte, as they are quite different.
I am disappointed @ the bolded. I hate the Veluxe finish. I haven't gotten mine yet, but I will not keep it. I will never reach for it.

Do you do the face powder trick? I take a fluffy brush like the 224 and place face powder (or a matte shade in your skintone) on my crease before I place down a crease color. Makes blending so much easier. Saw this on Arielhopemakeup's channel.

My black box came today... Not sure what else to say. Lol. I got all 5 shadows and they look pretty in their boxes. I don't feel like swatching any of them yet. Hajir Karim and Gameela are both labeled as Veluxe, Banafsaji as Veluxe Pearl, Farasha as Matte, and Parrot as Frost. No idea what's correct and what isn't. Hajir Karim looks like a gorgeous green.

I also finally have a 184 brush. It feels like I've been trying to get it for almost a year.

I pray my RD Quad looks as good on me as it is swatched on you! You seriously need to post a pic of you wearing it because I am in LOVE with those colors on your skintone:)
