I do not like the promo pick at all with her hair the way it is.I do like the purple and black eye's and the shades in the other photo.I've never been one for clowns ever,yet I may have to buy some of this stuff.Perhaps they should of named it something else.

I personally find the promo pic irrelevant, it doesn't sway me away from the collection. the colors sound awesome and I am uber excited for it. Haha, not like its the first time mac had a weird looking promo pic

I can't go too crazy with this collection, as I am still trying to recover from Barbie, but I know I will be getting the quad, Helium pigment and the purple nail polish for sure... and I should have enough empties by then for a lipstick/lipglass or two. I am excited about Strange Hybrid too so I have to save for that as well!

Man.. I haven't been this excited about anything from MAC in a longlong time..I LOVE PURPLE!
a list of everything I want from balloonacy so far..
until i see a REALLY GOOD picture of everything/in person..

So I went to my MAC store today so do some retail damage and my amazing MA and I started talking about the new collection coming out and she goes 'hey, you wanna see some stuff?' in a real low tone and of course I'm like 'yes!' lol So she went in the back and brought out one of the highlighting powders, Hullabullo I belive, and it is gorgeous! It looks so pretty and it has little balloons like embossed on it (think barbie, just raised). So cute! And she also showed me the quad, which I'm also now very sure that I'm going to get. Violet Trance looks divine, as do all the colors actually. I'm very excited! Just thought you'd all like to know.

Are the powders more like MSFs or beauty powders?

I suppose I really will have to see the quad in person before deciding. If the vibrant purple is really the only reason to get it, I'm still going to pass, as it's a matte and I strongly prefer not to use mattes ;[
