I know for MAC in Canada, they dont convert, they just slap on a price!

$22 USD does not equal $26 CAD

and so many of the other prices never add up, boy do I wish that is how they actually did it for us

I'm not sure how UK's prices are converted for MAC. But if you need to convert any currencies, this site that I've been using for years is great!

You're bang on! According to the site I posted above, $22 USD = $13.3266 GBP!

I think they will be more than that - a regular MAC lipstick in the UK is £12, so I really don't see them selling the luxe range for only £1 more! I've had a little whizz round online and as far as I can ascertain, last year's Monogram lipsticks retailed at £18, so I'd guess this will be closer to the mark - I could be wrong though.

I have to say that, contrary to popular opinion, I've found this collection quite bland and boring - I was really looking forward to it, but for me the colours are far to ordinary and dupable, so I won't be buying any of them

I recently acquired All Mine and Flourish from the Monogram collection and much prefer these to this year's colours - I think of all my MAC lipsticks they must rank among my favourites and I will be very sad when they are finished. The texture is wonderful too.

I'm skipping this collection, I like tha packaging but the colours are not that unique to pay that price IMHO, and since money does.t grows on tree...

According to Temptalia.com :

Privé : a more subtle Speed Dial
Treasured : Jubilee or even a more pigmented Fresh Brew.
The Lap of Luxury : reminded her of Enchantress Lipglass or Love Nectar Lustreglass
Preciousness : reminded a lot of Cultured Lipglass or a slightly more purple Luminary Lustreglass (though it’s less noticeably different when applied on lips)

I do not find that Temptalias swatches are always accurate for me. Her nudes look alot lighter on her than on me. I remember with Brave New Bronze it ws a nice light nude, on me it was like dark brown poo color!

I wish I could see Treasured swatched more!

Now that I have seen more swatches of this collection, I have gotten more interested in it. Just the price of the glosses & the lipsticks are a bit high, but sure are pretty though!
I am going to MAC tomorrow, I love how I run out of foundation today, so I must go out & brace the black friday crowds. I will be taking a good look at the glosses & lipsticks, I keep telling myself...NO, but ugh...I am cracking.
From looking at the swatches I do want to get a better look at The Lap of Luxury gloss, D’Nouveau gloss, Prive & Treasured lipstick.
I hope all of you had a GREAT Thanksgiving! I did, I am soo full!

Yes, I like to see multiple swatches, though hers are pretty accurate and I can tell which of those I will love

lol, but at times I love something on her, get it for myself, and it's not so much as nice on me

So I hear what you're saying! In this case, more really is more! And better

Thank you. MAC is soo overpriced here in the UK! Imagine, almost $10 more for each lipstick compared to US prices!!

I ended up with Prive and Preciousness (or whatever the light pink gloss is called). I still have not picked them up from Nordstrom though. I don't want to brave the crowds yet.

I did cave! Bad Katie!

I just shouldn't even go to the counter anymore because everytime I do I get sucked into the new stuff. I have to admit that none of it is super unique. I just love the pretty tubes!

Totally agree! The packaging is sooo pretty! But the colors...not overly unique...feel like I've seen them many times before lol

Looks like our hauls may be identical!

I have those two in my cart along with Lap of Luxury. I'm really trying to decide on that one cause it seems sheer, but still lovely!

Edit: Oops unless you do in fact mean Lap of Luxury? (I was going to abbreviate that but it spells "LOL") Haha

I went to the MAC Store which is 30 minutes away today to check out this collection. When I get there, turns out .. everything I want is sold out! No glosses, lipstick or powder. I was kinda pissed but I guess I deserve it for not going on Wednesday. If you guys want your stuff, I'd say go quickly.
