this is very true! sweetness looks nothing like fashion frenzy. they would also go on the skin much differently, given the texture and finish.

i passed on fanshion frenzy as it was more of a pastel-ish pink and i dont look good in pastel blushes. i prefer sweetness

Finally I found some time to pop by a MAC counter and have a look at the new beauty powder blushes

! It feels strange, though, I'm used to the fact that it takes another three weeks from the date that a collection comes out in the US, and now we get it first (can't complain..).
I thought I would like Joyous, but I found it too orangy on my gloomy skin, and to my big surprise I came home with True Romantic!

It looks plummy , but on skin it gives a very natural, cold pinkish sheen. I have nw20 skin, and usually get warm colours. You have to try the blushes on cheeks, because they come out so different. A swatch on the inside of my arm didn't help me much either.

Thanks so much for the info!! I really cannot choose between Joyous and Hipness, and I wonder if Joyous is similar to Foolsih Me

woot.

i think eversun is the perfect blush for summer.

It looks really dark in the pan, but on my nc20 skin, it turns out to be golden peach. I think i will love this blush a lot

here's eversun on my face

I saw them on monday, sweetness looks beautiful. I'm so amazed it's actually here now, unlike other collection which we get like 2-3 weeks later than the US.

Does anyone know how Eversun would compare to Warmed MSF or LM Hazelnut blush? If I have the other 2 do I need Eversun?

MSF Warmed and Eversun are similar in shade, I think. Both are golden bronze. IMO Eversun is a little bit darker.
But you shouldn't forget that the Beauty Powder Blushes are very soft and don't give so much color off.

I bought MSF Warmed and decided myself for other Beauty Powder Blushes. Warmed is great as a bronzing powder in summer and is enough for me.

It is described as a mid-tone pink with silver pearl. Maybe you can compare it with blush Flirt & Tease.

Re: Beauty Powder Blush Discussion

Hi guys,
I bought true romantic and feeling and now I would like to have secret blush or eversun as well. But I don't know how to decide - I'm affraid that eversun would be too dark form me (I'm nc20), but I like it on geeko. I would like to have something more peachy for the summer. I like the secret blush too, but I'm not sure how similar it is to feeling - they look very similar. So should I go for eversun or secret blush?

Thanx

I honestly have no idea, but it is tangerine like Foolish Me, probably more subtle on skin, though.

I'm so torn as to whether or not to get sweetness of true romantic. I can't get both! I want a pale pink blush, and I have to order online. Swatches sometimes make True Romantic look like a soft midtone pink and sometimes plummy/mauve. I'm afraid Sweetness will be too bright.

Are these sheer?

I picked up Joyous today and it's lovely and also nearly got Eversun, it looks so much better on than in does in the pot.

Sweetness was also really lush but I just bought Dollymix and it's slightly similar.

Yes, they are sheer. I don't think True Romantic looks mauvy on skin at all, just pink! (go and see my swatch). I'm also afraid of too bright colours, TR is simply more wearable!
