Thanks rbella , and yes he is a sweetie but he just doesn’t understand my fascination with MAC and he thinks that I have enough to last me a lifetime, so he doesn’t want to give me more while he hears me moaning that I need other stuff then go and spend my money on MAC. But valentine is soon so hopefully I’ll get a MAC gift card then ….

I also have one sweeet story of my bf that I forgot to share with everyone here

Just last Christmas 2008, I was in the Philippines when the Dame Edna collection was released here in the UK. I was making my wish list from that collection when my bf said I should only buy 3 things from the collection (max), so I asked opinions from him, my sis, bro (and even my dad ) about which of the lippies would work best for me coz I found them all so pretty + I couldn't make up my mind!! Later on my bf said that he'd choose which ones and he'll buy them for me.

So when I got back from the holidays, we exchanged gifts. He handed me my box (he ordered the dame edna stuff online), and when I opened it, he had wrapped the 3 little boxes individually, labeled 1, 2 and 3. I unwrapped each one as even he was curious about what the actual colours looked like!

On the top of the box however, it said like.. 'How many do you see? look further!' So I removed the black thin crumpled pieces of paper and I saw another! It was wrapped as well but was labelled 5. Then I was like OMG.. this means there's a number 4! I opened that and on the wrapper was written 'look for the missing one from your honi that gave this to you' - so it turned out he had the one labelled 4.

I was dumbstruck after the whole thing, I couldn't believe it! He knew I had a difficult time choosing, so he got me all the lippies I wanted. I was so happy!!

My husband bought me Knight Divine about a year ago, because I'd been feeling down and sorry for myself and was whining about how I'd like to get some makeup. "I want an eyeshadow called Knight Divine", I whined. The next day I came home and on the coffee table, there was a bag from MAC, all for me! He fully supports my MAC/makeup addiction and will sit down and look at my hauls, listen to my rants and ravings about this eyeshadow or that lippie, come with me to the MAC counter where he will stand to the side, staring into space and reply "No, it's OK, you keep looking" when I ask him if he's bored. He's a sweetie

I agree! Blonde is not my favorite one actually, though I like it too, it's not a must-have. Since we're both NC30, I have to say I like Redhead the most and Brunette is a close second.

Rach sweetheart don't worry about it. I feel like this every other day, and I feel this for most of the limited edition collections. To me BBR is so bleh and I'm not gonna feel bad because of this.
You have your own wishes and can make choices what to buy and what to leave in the shops.
I'm not gonna love you any less if you stop buying MAC all together. You know we're not shallow people here, so no need to hide from us, we would miss you dearly
