The name Cinematics does definitely remind me of the grey scale black & white films, too!
I think Old Hollywood, that's for sure. Also makes me think of the very first "pancake makeup" used by the Father of Makeup, himself, Maximilian Faktorowicz aka Max Factor. But I'm so sure MAC won't go back that old school with the collection... Haha!

ooohhhh this sounds so cool! Now a few cute greys would be nice but i'm hopping for some bold l/s and l/gs. Wouldn't it be cool if they had a compact that lit up when you opened it sorta like the makeup mirrors backstage of the theater? (but u can turn it off so it wouldn't be annoying)
oh yeah i really hope they do some kind of fancy compact mirror! that would be ace!

I was hoping that we would have heard some news on this collection by now. Of course, my impatience is playing a big role in this wishing. Does anyone have any idea when we "may" start to find out more? At least a colour story and what the items will be would be good enough for me right now.

You guys have such great idesa for this collection. Let's hope MAC is way ahead of us and some great things in store for this.
I agree almost anything has to be better than last year's. I bought a couple of the dazzlel/s but was so not impressed with anything else. The Nordies collections seem very hit or miss. So here's hoping this year's will be a hit.
