Can someone please tell me if this has worked for them or not?

I mean really, can you actually hear the desperation while reading this? I can! hahaha

I've posted reviews on it long ago. I can't remember when I bought it, but I've probably been using it for about 2-3 months already. I have an effing oily face too, but I don't think this is a primer that is meant for the whole entire face. Just apply it on areas that are oilier than the rest, or places that have bigger pores. (Info taken from the local MAs)

I use this on my nose and chin, before applying the regular P+P Face Protect SPF 50 all over my face. I still get oily 2-3 hours after makeup application, I don't know if you'll consider that to be good or not. So yeah, my verdict would be that if you have the cash get it, if not then it's ok to skip it, because the effect is not that great IMO. Your regular primer will do the job just as well. This review would probably be more relevant for the oily ladies, like myself.

i went to the mac estee lauder sale.. and when i got back, i saw youtube videos and realized i missed out on the Prep and prime translucent power and the line filler. They were going for cheap...and was out before the actual line launched. BOO

I wonder if the translucent powder is anything like the MUFE HD Power? I have that one, but i feel that it makes the make up look cakey. I use mineral foundation, but when i used the MUFE HD Foundation with the HD Power at a photoshoot, in real life, it was super cakey, but on photos it translated well. I guess "HD" may be more for photos? Do you think this will do the same?

I really like it...I have only used it for two days however...so I normally judge about day 5 or 6 but so far so good ...Gives a very finshed look...Much better than the other finishing powder they had that looked white on me...

And MUFE HD was horrid looking IRL on me....I looked yellow and ashy in sunlight...however great in pictures

I do want the Line Filler and I'm done after that and will save up for Double Dazzle and Rose Romance this month.

Show Orchid is now perm at Pro and Freestanding Mac locations...so it's not LE

Oh! That's awesome that Show Orchid is perm at freestanding MAC locations! I thought it would be LE on the regular line.

I don't think those were the same ones as the new products coming out this Thursday. They only have old and discontinued stuff.

I wonder if that white powder is essential or if we can use our other sheer MAC powders.

Usually, one sheer powder is the same as another and I really hate that white stuff.

It reminds me Dermablend -- which also has that horrible white powder to set things.

Have you tried applying the primer on top of your makeup throughout the day? If so, how is it? Does it make your foundation shift?

I haven't try it on top of my makeup tho.

I just use blot powder to touch up throughout the day.

question to you guys that bought the powder, what brush do you use to put it on with. i just bought it today and i was thinking i maybe could use my 182 but i already use that for my msf natural and i like to keep one brush specificially for each face product.

Sorry...I am just now seeing your question

No, bismuth is not listed in the ingredients. What is listed is zea mays (corn) starch, silica, mica, zinc stearate, caprylyl glycol,1,2-hexanediol

Hope that answers what you are looking for

Is that the complete ingredient list for the powder? Just double-checking.

I'm on the fence about these prep and prime things. I've bought so many "wrinkle fillers" and primers that I don't know if I can justify spending the money on more. I say that as they are all sitting in my cart waiting for me to "checkout".
