That said.. I know these glosses will be pretty, but I'm not excited because I like lipsticks for the pigmentation, opaqueness, and coverage, and lipglasses for the glossiness and sheerness, sometimes pigmentation. I don't really want a combo of both, since I really can't stand the feel of lipgloss over lipstick.

I think I'm the only weird one here. Me and my OCD!
Maybe these will change my mind.

For me, the cremesheen lipsticks are just that. Nothing to rave about. They're not as pigmented as ACs and they're not as sheer and glossy as the lustres. So yeah, they're just somewhere of an in-between texture. I also find them more drying than the lustres, and they kinda apply more unevenly too IMO (perhaps because they're so creamy that it's hard to control).

I agree with this ... ACs are my HG lipsticks and these are nowhere near as good for me. I find that they apply kinda splotchy whether I use a lip brush or not. It is like taking a lustre and mixing it with coloured chalk. I have six of them and the colours are great but I just really don't dig the formulation. They do feel good on ... but to me all MAC lippies feel good on.

The lipglasses though look awesome ... I am hoping and praying that they are similar to the Lacquers cause the fact that these are now gone still brings a tear of grief to my eye.

Oops, well back to not trying on Cremesheens then! xD
I don't like any of the colors really, which is why I haven't really gotten around to trying one.

I'll stick to AC's and frosts. =)

Well I think you'll need to try them on to decide for yourself. Opinions seem to be pretty divided on them. Either you love the formula or you're not impressed by it.

I personally love ACs and lustres, but I'm not impressed by their love child at all. What a disappointment.

Yay, we're backup so I was finally able to post my swatches in the swatch thread(sorry, no lavender)
So these glosses are lovely! They are not sticky IMO. They have no shimmer or sparkle, just very shiny & smooth. My only complaint is that they are kind of sheer, particularly Partial to Pink(the lightest color I got) My favorite of the 3 that I received is Looks Like Sin, it shows up the best on my pigmented lips...it is like a plum color...I'm bad with color descriptions, maybe you could also refer to it as a brick red? You can check out the swatches, the colors are pretty accurate in the pics. Sorry that my lip swatches aren't so great...the natural light is best for judging the colors on my lips. And ew, wtf...my peach fuzz on my lips looks like a friggin full blown dark-haired man stache! Especially when you look at the BIG version of the pics, guess its time to start waxing, sorry for that!

Enjoy the pics!

I was just about to ask this
I would love to know how much product is in there
I want to brace myself if MAC is going to rip us off like they did with dazzleglass.

I am curious about their weight too. The Monogram Glasses had 4.8 g. I hope the Cremesheen Glasses have the same weight.

However I am really disappointed that they are so sheer! The promo image promised opaque and not sheer.

I didn't get any boxes for these & the sticker is just like the stickers on the dazzleglasses, so there is no weight on them, so I don't know theweight. Sorry! I was wondering their weight also!

I think they just seem extra sheer on my pigmented lips because they showed up well on my arm. I did layer them on thick though & truthfully I do find them to be on the sheer side. I'm sure for the people without dark lips they are going to be great!

As a member of the pigmented-lip faction, I am honestly glad that the Cremesheen Glosses turned out to be so sheer. It saves me money for other, more pigmented shades of lipglass! (It's still a pity, though. I was lemming Looks Like Sin...)
