Back on topic:
Is Velvetella l/l LE?
I'm still unsure about the c/g, they are expensive and sheer.. But the lip junkie in me would hate myself for not getting one of these.
Will be going to pick up my Lavender Whip tomorrow, my counter is finally down to the last 2 pieces, and my MA texted to say that she saved one of them for me.

My MA is nice, but she doesn't do free makeovers for me, well ok not exactly as dramatic as makeovers but more of putting some makeup on me for fun. I wish she'd do that though.

Hun i agree ,some of the frosted shades make me look "cold"if you see what i mean...problem is that being half italian ,i have some yellow undertones in my skin,hence some of the shades look ghostly on me,i also noticed that due to different seasons some shades look good in Winter but not so good in Summer.I bought Myth and it was like my fav but no more it really makes me look so washed out in Winter ,almost corpse like

OMG that is not Strayin' it is Lickable l/s ...Strayin and I do not go well together at all...as a matter of fact I hate it on me ....hate it ! But thank you!!!

I find that putting a gloss over frosts helps to cover up the frostiness, but I'm usually lazy or have no time for that extra step.

I know what you mean. Creme De La Femme looks like I have the pale purple lips from freezing, although I usually take to cool shades really well.
Well I don't particularly like frosts because they look so metallic, and if you layer them on too much the outcome is quite frightening. It happened with my "O" lipstick.

Yeah I like it...But I lined my lips completely with Magenta first....to take the bright down just a tad

My understanding is: When you are younger, the lipid barrier in your lips is stronger. Like many things, this breaks down over time. The moisturizing ingredient in the cremesheens is olive oil, which is wonderful, but if you've still got a strong lipid barrier, it's not going to sink in nearly as much, now is it? It makes sense to me, too, that the formula varies a bit from shade to shade, because what product isn't like that?? I find vast differences amongst lipglass shades and also notice differences amongst varying shades in every MAC formula lipstick I have (which is, uh, pretty much all of them).

Today I got Fashion Scoop and Boy Bait (will get backups of both of them)! Both are gorgeous!! Now I want Partial Pink and Ever So Rich! I was going to get Lavender Whip but it's sold out online and will try to find away to get my hands on it since everyone has been raving about that gorgeous lavender lipstick.
