Im wanting a "creamsicle orange" colored lippie to wear as kind of an orange-ish nude since pink toned nudes tend to look awful on me and peach toned or caramel colored nudes look good...so I was hoping to get a creamsicle color for a fun summery nude
That's kinda how I'd described both SK (satin formula) and S&S (cremesheen formula) for me. With S&S being a paler peach nude. I pair both with a nude/light brown liner to make it a little more wearable. But I use these as that orange-ish nude look you just described. If I were you I'd probably go with SK. It's a little more orange and a little easier application-wise. But S&S has more of that nude effect.

Here is T's link. Look at them on her. She's NC30. Obviously she REALLY layers them on to show the colors, but you can get a general idea of how they might work for you.

I hope I didn't just confuse you more.

@PixieDancer....thanks for the link!!! And for the tips on how make SK and S&S more wearable!!! No confusion at all!!! Actually helped clear up some questions I had....thinking I'm gonna go on and give SK a try...I think paired with a brownish toned liner and worn with a smoker eye look that I can make this lippie work...

Here's my Sweet & Sour swatch. My coloring is NW/NC20.
Really love this color, its a great peachy cream nude color and seems to have some lastability to it as well.

Ooh, I may need to pick this shade up! I was afraid it might wash me out but it looks gorgeous on you! Also, what is your eyeshadow? I really like it!

This is AMAZING on you. I was planning on passing but since we have similar skin tones I will go in and try it out. Thank you (or not).

Thanks! I hope you do, I didn't think it looked washed out on me and I get scared of lighter lippies a lot of the time.

Thanks to both of you! I think light oranges and baby pinks are my safe zone lol. It's wearing darker colors or even red that intimidates me! :p
I feel the same way. I can wear neons, corpse nudes as they call them, purples, frosts, pretty much anything but dark shades and darks red browns. I was goth for so many yrs that i think that has a lot to do with it. and my lips look smaller to me in darker colors, so i dont like that either. I actually got talked into buying punk couture at mac opening for that and magnetic nudes, and wore it around the mall since i was first to touch the tester. Went home and looked and no punk couture, i wasnt even charged for it i had bought so much i didnt pay attention, so guess it wasnt meant to be plus i probably wouldnt have worn it much. the darkest lipstick i have is rebel. And i bought that when i had lip injections, so felt braver to go darker.

I wear nudes, pastels, corals, or neons...that's about it lol. I would feel far more comfortable in a pale lilac or a hot pink than I would in a classic red. I did think about getting MAC's Glam though...I like that it leans pink as well, I think I could deal with that. I do own a few reds but I rarely wear them...if I want something reddish I usually go with NYX's Indie Flick which is a lot more orange. Once I tried on NYX's Snow White and it just looked AWFUL on me. I tried it on my niece who is much tanner and it looked great. I'm just ghostly pale lol!

I find it odd that colours like Sushi Kiss made the cut ahead of Party Parrot, Prince Noir, Moxie, Watch me Simmer, Scarlet Ibis, Quick Sizzle and so many others. I am happy that MAC is listening to it's customers (if their choices were based on demand) and just increasing their range generally, but find it hard to understand their selection...except for Pink Pigeon which was in hot demand.

I've never even heard of Giddy for example and there are hardly any online swatches...but it does look nice so I am all for it.

Anywho, I hope they add more, it would be great to see more comebacks.
