And now we are all following en suite
winks.gif

I swatched em both. X rocks is warmer with more orange/copper in it whereas plum is more burgundy/brown. Also, the textures are completely diff with xrocks having an almost metallic sheen. X rocks screams summer and sunshine while plum de bois is more of a muted fall flush color.

That's a really good description of the colors. I swatched those 2 plus Fab since all 3 look similar.

Xrocks - more bronzey-coppery-plum. I think this would go nicely w/the Spiced Choc quad. More shimmery.

Plum du Bois - more of a cooler plum than xrocks.

Fab - more of a raspberry color than the other 2.

All 3 blushes look very similar in the pan but swatched you can see the differences.

I was lucky enough to be able to see this collection the day it came out. I got Lightly Ripe (gorgeous), Cheery Blossom, "O", Spiced Chocolate, and So Scarlet. The MA told me while I was being rung up that they only got 5 Cheery Blossoms (I picked up 2), and I told her to get that and Lightly Ripe as soon as possible.

Thinking of getting Kirsch and the other quads, though. I know I shouldn't buy more, but this collection is lovely (and yes, I know the quads can be duped, but I love quads for traveling, and I don't like to depot LE items).

This has to be the best collection that MAC has ever released, based on the number of items that I cannot bare to not get. I really should ignore this site until the Holiday collections come out, or I'm going to be in trouble ^_^.

GO! GO! GET IT! GET IT! DONT STOP! GET IT! GET IT!
GO GET KIRSCH!!
I SOUND LIKE A CHEERLEADER!!

Oh, and I know the eye make-up is too heavy, but that's what I had on when I went to MAC today. Woops. Then I wanted to try on Bing. Which WAS gorgeous. But actually pretty similar to Kirsch on me, just a tad more purple. So I tried on Kirsch. And I'm in love. I don't need Bing.

So I left with Vino Lip Pencil, Silverstruck, and O.
And I'm waiting on Kirsch tomorrow.
I need to stop.

Looks great on you! Is it September yet?

The best thing is the MUA said this will be my collection and that I will surely love it and I can wear them. Good marketing

Ok, could I wear a blush like blooming? I have dark hair and am relatively pale. Normally pinks do not look too great on me (Pleasantry).
Should I look at it? I have nothing of the sort, but a plummy pink sounds interesting....

Ditto! I was thisclose to picking up Lightly Ripe on my lunch hour, but figured a third visit in a week was absurd.

Is there a swatch of Blooming in the swatch thread??

YES! You could definitely wear blooming! I'm one of those ghastly pale types and my hair is currently dyed almost-black. Blooming is wooooonderful. It works because it blends in so smoothly, rather than just sitting obviously on top of the skin.
