MAC - Cult of Cherry Discussion

I got my CoC! My lovely ex gave me a lift to and from MAC (he's used to me getting excited about makeup) and my mum gave me a bit of money to spend too. Me and the MA got rather excited about it all. She was wearing So Scarlet, and it looked stunning.

I got:
So Scarlet
Lightly Ripe (the perfect MLBB colour for me)
Kirsch
CoC
Cherry Blossom
Jampacked
Beet lipliner

I put Beet, So Scarlet, and CoC as soon as I got home, and I think I'm in love. I've never done proper red lips before, as I didn't think I could pull it off, but this has already become one of my fav lip combos. I'm even contemplating buying backups, which I've never done before! I can't wait to try Kirsch next!

todays i bought spiced chocolate and shadowy lady quads, lightly ripe l/s and cherry blossom l/g. i just tried out shadowy lady and its gorgeous!
has anyone got any ideas for the best lipliner to go with lightly ripe l/s?

I feel like I've been waiting so long for it to come out.

Just tried on Kirsch. It's a little much on it's own, and I found it kinda hard to get even coverage, but that was soon fixed with a little Jampacked. It's so dark compared to what I usually wear, especially against my NW15 skin, but as long as I put a little blush on to stop me looking dead it's fantastic. I'm thinking about going out tomorrow night just so I've got an excuse to wear it

I only ordered the spiced chocolate quad as Iam a poor college student and dont get paid until next week

Yay! My last and final CoC haul came today (UPS)--Haul #3.

I got:

So Scarlet
Rapturous mattene

Burgundy l/l


Ok, I was sooo nervous that Rapturous and So Scarlet were going to be too similar or something. But they aren't (at least on me..) I am sooo happy!!!!!!!!

They are close, but yet...different if that makes sense. LOL!!

So Scarlet: is a berry/rasberry reddish color with a hint of dark magenta perhaps.

Rapturous: more of a deep winy color red. Not so much RED. But like a deep dark wine color. Kinda looks like it has some Kirsch mixed in..that type of wine color but deeper? Very pretty!!

LOVE THEM BOTH!! YES!

And OMG So Scarlet...which when I swatched it quickly at the store when CoC first came out...I didn't like it. Thought it was too bright or magenta or something.

LOL with all the So Scarlet talk here...LOL I couldn't take it and ordered it hoping that it would look good on. I took a risk and listened to my fellow CoC's and NATURALLY it payed off!!!

SUCCESS!! So Scarlet is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't take it! HAHA!! (I am sick right now...long story...bell's palsy) But once I'm better watch out!! I'm going to be ALL OVER this So Scarlet stuff! HAHA!

ok friends, after putting off the Spiced Chocolate quad for this long, I am once again lemming for it! I love all the looks that have been done with it, although I already have Amber Lights, Coppering, Cranberry and Mega Rich pigment...ahhh!! The CoC has me in its grasp!

kirsch is a beautiful color and will look gorgeous on you. try blotting your lips after you put it on even after putting on jampacked and that should help with the color intensity or try using a lip brush.

I feel like neutral eyes ( bronzey eyes and etc...) with a dark lip berry lip like jampacked mix with Bing or red lip is the look of fall. well at least my look for fall. But i dont know which blush i should wear for fall? could you peeps hey a lady out? Thanks!!!!

sounds like a beautiful look to me!!!
for the blush look into Sweet as Cocoa and Blunt as a contour shade.imo. Raizin i bet would look divine on you too but test them out first to see if you like them. Raizin on me (nw40) tends to look a little red but on your skintone would look nice while wearing Bing lipstick!!!

Of course not! I got two of them.

They are so lovely. Its the best red lipglass I personally have ever seen. A nice clean red, just like the description says.

I caved!

I B2M'd So Scarlet and got Cult of Cherry l/g, which looks AMAZING over Chock-ful mattene-or Film Noir l/s, which I found is an almost exact dupe, just a bit more plummy IMO.

I'll probably be ordering a quad online later, and MAYBE Blooming.

I'm still not sure what I will get from this collection, I seems so hard to choose between all the lovely things.. I think the Shadowy Lady quad is a must have and I'm contemplating over the Temptign quad too now that I dropped my Bitter to the bathroom floor and it broke
