MAC - Cult of Cherry Discussion

I got my last CoC today lol....I ended up getting all three quads, both blushes (Plum Du Bois is to die for

), all three LE lipsticks, all the lipglasses, Kirsch mattene and Silverstruck nail polish...I'm seriously in CoC overload

Wow, I definately didn't spend nearly as much as I thought I would. I'm still wanting more, but oh my gawd, these holiday collections have my head spinning lol!

Here's my mini CoC hauls. Haha, yep, it took me 3 purchases... 2 online and 1 in the store (had to physically test the blushes before I'd buy one haha).

Spiced Chocolate Quad
Lightly Ripe lipstick
Cherry Blossom lipglass
Rich & Ripe lipglass
Blooming blush

And I just LOVE it all! <3

I'm seriously very tempted to get the tempting quad. but just don't like the green. still wondering if its going to be worth it getting.

Well, you could just get Tempting and Brun from the permanent line if you don't like the green. The highlight colour is pretty similar to Shroom I think.

next to nothing is really similar with shroom and I think dark edge is pretty dupable too.

I don't have major minor but I have liqeuer. I tried on major minor and on me, it looked too silvery white. Liqeuer is not as silver on me, and I love it. Just my opinion.

I'm pondering if I should get Bing (I allready have Night Violet mattene) and Chockfull and Liquour and Rich and Ripe. Any ideas?

I personally think Rich & Ripe is a must. It's gorgeous and goes with so many looks. I love Liqueur as well, but if I had to choose between those two I'd go with R&R.

I ordered a backup of CoC, Its just too perfect of a red gloss not to. And I am wearing my shadowy lady quad everywhere still, (love the tempting quad but don't usually have enough time to make it work on me I have to be very careful with the sharp that its placed just so so its not too much.

That's my situation with Sharp as well.

I went to the counter today and finally decided that I don't really want and need Chock-ful or Liqueur, both are too brown for my taste, Bing is too similar to Night Violet mattene that I allready have and Rich & Ripe just's isn't me. When it comes to lips I'm a bit of an extreme person, it has to be something really sheer, light and somewhat "natural" or something really bright, dark and intense, for me Rich & Ripe falls in between.

But I didn't leave empty handed

I got my first ever backup's and they were Rapturous mattene and CoC l/g. For me that's the perfect red combo and I want to be able to enjoy it as long as possible. But still only one backup, I really can't justify having three times the same item..
