Red Enriched was my first MAC lipliner, and I love it to this very day. Also, being a cremestick liner, it kicks the butt of any of the lipliner pencils. Mmmm...

That being said, though, I'm using burgundy lip pencil today, topped by Rimmel (I think) bordeaux lipstick and dewy jube lipgelee. It's a juicy, very dark, vampy lip (especially against my pale skin). The boyfriend keeps looking at me and making faces because he HATES it. Apparently he dislikes dark lips. *giggle*

He's going to have a good time when Cult of Cherry comes out and I buy basically everything, now isn't he?

MAN, those lippies (the mattenes) look DARK! I really will skip those. They are too vampy and elegant for me.

But LOVE Spiced Chocolate and Cherry Blossom. That could possibly be all that I'm getting then!

Maybe Liquer too, for some reason I'm really drawn to that color.

Add the following facts: that my signature makeup look consists of smoky eyes and red lips (particularly bold, dark ones), that my wardrobe consists of largely black, not to mention my skin which is "alabaster" in terms of my newly beloved MUFE foundation and that the sun very quickly makes me sick...

No, really I think it can definitely be an awesome old movie glam look.

The smokey eye...it's the only eye I know

and btw - those gals in the van Helsing movie looked amazing in that makeup look

Ooooh, garlic! Snack! Nom nom nom...

I seriously love the look, too. And if my eye makeup isn't smoky, it probably means I only had time for a quick wash of colour. Right now my hair is a dark cool brown, which is fantastic to go with the funky lipcolours.

Ahahaha, for sure. I'm pretty tan and dark.. so I don't think it would have that effect on me... but... but.. I dunno, I perceive dark red as too elegant for a wild child such as me!

Actually, I got a pair of glow in the dark plastic fangs at university around Hallowe'en the other year, at a thing put on by the English department. It was pretty fantastic.

I've been rocking the vampire-esque look for a good many years now (broken up here and there by other things, of course). My high school boyfriend actually referred to me as the "dark lady" rather than use my name sometimes.

Now, I've actually moved toward the... elegant vampire look? Dresses and skirts and whatnot that are lovely, but have a slightly funky twist. I'm a real sucker for clothing (and BOOTS!) that laces up.

I love red lipstick...I already own like eight different reds so I must admit that I'm more excited to see what the Facecharts look like than anything else-I need some ideas for eyes and cheeks to go with all my red lippies!!
