at first I wasn't too excited about this collection but the Tempting and Spiced Chocolat quads are looking mighty nice!!! I'm just kind of disappointed that there is a Matte finish in each one. I really can't stand Matte finishes on my skin.
I like both blushes though! I wish they were sheertone shimmers though! THat would make it all the more fantastic.
I also like a few lipglasses and lipsticks.
I guess I've come a long way from wanting nothing about 2 weeks ago!! lol

After I saw that price I didn't read too much further. That makes the price even worse since MAC could overnight it to you for less money by then.

I still can't wait for this-I'm SO excited!!
I bet Lightly Ripe l/s and Rich and Ripe l/g will be GORGEOUS together-I can't wait to get mine and try it out!
I narrowed my list down yet again-I'm thinking the two Ripe lippies, Cult of Cherry or Jampacked l/g (I can't decide between them yet!), and I'm *still* debating over the Tempting quad...August 21st seems too far away!
I bet Lightly Ripe l/s and Rich and Ripe l/g will be GORGEOUS together-I can't wait to get mine and try it out!

I think I am just going to stick with getting some of the lipsticks in this collection and ask for the quads for my birthday. I can't wait until I can actually see these in person and see if sharp is really worth getting the whole tempting quad. I also hope that so scarlet lives up to my expectations. It looks gorgeous in the swatch thread.

I saw this pre-sale @ my Mac counter. I wasn't to impressed with coloring of the quads. I am usually the first one to get the Mac quads. These colors are similar of what I have. I will stick with the lipsticks and lipgloss. But I did see the overrich pigments, they are gorgeous and I will be getting those.

Where you wrote this a few pages back about the Spiced Chocolate Eye Shadow Quad:
"Nanogold - Sheer yellow pink with pink pearlized pigments (Frost) Repromote (originally labeled a Lustre from N Collection)"
does that mean they may have changed the texture of nanogold (which would be a good thing in my book) or just that it was/will be labelled incorrectly in one collection or the other? TIA!

The blush swatches are gorgeous. I do think that with X-rocks blush, I can skip the Plum de Bois since they look very similar and X-rocks has such great texture. Blooming blush looks pretty though, I may need this one.
Still want the Spiced Chocolates quad and maybe the Tempting quad now.
I was also very bad and placed a Besame order and soon will be swimming in lipsticks, so I don't know if I'm going to be picking up much more than the Cult of Cherry lipglass and the So Scarlet lipstick as far as lipsticks go, from this collection.

Yes, it is. From the sounds of it, Smudged Violet is different than Velvet Plum in color. Velvet Plum is more of a taupe/plum, not a grayed violet. This collection isn't my thing. I don't like dark colors because I'm so pale. I can't say thats a bad thing though, my wallet needs a major break right now. But I must say, theres a pinky purpley shade in the chocolate quad that is beautiful. I think thats all I like lol.

I thought I was going to go out of control w/ this collection but now I'm trying not to get caught up in the excitement of collections as I've been doing all year, but focus on what I would actually use. I LOVE the Tempting quad and was so proud of narrowing the quads down to this one but now I'm thinking I might just use colors I have already: Daisychain, Overgrown, Woodwinked and Handwritten.
As for the lip colors, I am waiting a little longer to see those in swatches before I decide. I was lemming for a dark, vampy mattene, but let's be honest I really wouldn't wear that more than once to play around in front of the mirror and then back to my nude lips!
So we'll see about these but I am looking forward to seeing more swatches.
