Honestly, that's what Kirsh mattene and Jampacked l/g look like on me. So Scarlet had alot of pink in it when I swatched it. They much have really layered it on to get it to look like that.

HEYA!! Im getting my hair cut today! and then me and my bestie have appointments on saturday to the CoC event im excited. ilove falls dark almost evil colors! dont get me started on the new pigments!

I may need a backup. -Jampacked l/g: Beautiful shade of muted plum with lots of sparkle. Not too purple or red. The perfect mix of the 2 colors. This is a totally new color for me, and I really like it. And are you ready?!?!? Kirsch AND Bing Mattenes: SO SO SO in love with these. I waivered about these both quite a long time before I bit the bullet and added them to my haul. They ARE dark, but wearable. Beautiful shades of eggplant and cranberry. I came home and put on chapstick, dotted these on my lips, rubbed them together and added a bit of Jampacked l/g over. PERFECTION. Seriously, I don't think you guys understand how excited I am. This is a whole new world for me and I feel surprisingly comfortable. I did my eyes very light today. Vanilla e/s on the lid, Smoke and Diamonds in the crease, Solar White to highlight, Blacktrack to line. It is a perfect look with the darker lips. I can't wait for my hubby to see! (Too bad I have to wait til next weekend since he is 1000 miles away! ) Now that I have tried the mattenes, I may go back for more lip stuff, and the Plum de Bois blush. It is a pretty plummy color with sparkle, but I am worried it might turn muddy on me. I want to see pics of a few NW15-20 wearing it before I buy. I resisted the other 2 quads because I couldn't take my eyes off of the mattenes Ok, enough babbling. I am making my DARK lippies run!

Since my cam in MIA, I can't take a picture for you - but I am a bit lighter than NW15 and grabbed Plum du Bois. I was worried it would be muddy, too, but it's NOT. I mean, I'm not about to pack it on, but used lightly it's really quite lovely.

Red Enriched cremestick liner darkens and deepens So Scarlet. Topped with Cult of Cherry, it is a red lip worth killing for.

Can you see the plum in it? Layered on it turned brown on me, but with a light swipe it was plummy. I was worried it would change one I put it on my face though. If you like it, I will have to check it out

You do have to use it really lightly, and there's still a hint of brown to it, but tis still definitely plummy with a really pretty shimmer. This is the kind of blush you whip out the 187 for.

Girl, I found this lip at the bottom of my train case. The label was rubbed off so it's super old. I wish I knew the name. But in those years I was not a MAC addict and could give a crap less about the product names... I WAS SUCH A DORK

My packages (lol!) came today... and I'm really happy with most of what I bought.

My favorites are: Bing Mattene (I haven't really tried it on dark, but a light application is gorgeous!) I have to thank elegant-one for this purchase... her post made me buy it and it's my absolute favorite thing from this collection! Thanks!

I really love ALL of the lipglasses... I didn't get liqueur though. I don't think I can pick a favorite but I really love ripe and ready, the multi-dimensional pearl is so pretty in it.

So Scarlet l/s is gorgeous... I hope to actually wear it though... I'm not used to wearing anything like it.

Lightly Ripe is pretty but not what I expected. I like it, but I'm not overly impressed with it. I agree with Audrey... I'll probably get a lot of use out of it though.

The Shadowy Lady quad is beautiful, and I LOVE smudged violet, I just wish the texture was better...something like a veluxe pearl. The texture just sucks imo.

I am in love with Brash from the Spiced Chocolate quad... but is it similar to Bold and Brazen from Starflash? I might have to send this one back. I don't know if I'll use it. I only want it for Brash.

Lastly, I got Kirsch mattene... and it's going back. I don't like it on me at all.. Bing is SO much better!

Does Smudged Violet's texture really really suck? I am so tempted to get the quad for it & Lightfall, but am so afraid Lightfall won't show up on me(Nanogold really doesn't show up on me but its so pretty in the post & on others) & I'll be disappointed if Smudged Violet sucks IRL. I am hearing such mixed reviews on it!!! Aahhhh!!!
