MAC - Cult of Cherry Discussion

So I headed to the mall today and plotted my route so I'd end up at MAC last and be able to play with uber dark shades without fear of staining my face/hands before clothes shopping. Sephora was STILL out of Givenchy's Phenomen'eyes gothic torture device mascara (I don't know why, but I don't like ordering online, I want instant gratification). Then I ran into an very recent "ex" (we were never really together) and he totally snubbed me. Ok, I broke your heart, I get it, but is "HELLO" too difficult? So I promptly dropped $200 on a brown leather motorcycle jacket at Zara And it was totally worth it. Then I hightailed it to MAC, tried on Bing (too exhausted to play with much more) and bought one immediately. The MA was raving about it on me, I hope she wasn't just being nice to make the sale. So I came home to do some swatches for you girls and let you be the judge! ...I'm in ur swatch forum, uploading mah pics...

OH...Now that I'm putting it on, I realize the MA sold me Kirsch and not Bing. And I'm questioning which one it is I actually tried on at MAC....GRRR. Well I do like the looks of Kirsch, so worst case scenario is I go buy Bing also hehehe...

and Russian Red for B2M (they said I couldnt B2M LE items :-( )

I stashed it in my car and cant wait to go home and mess around with it.

I wish I picked up CoC LG and Cherry Blossom beautiful colors but didnt want to max out my CC.

I am SO excited to check out this collection IRL. I was planning on waiting until tomorrow since its PAYDAY, but now I don't know if I can wait that long!! Not after all these reviews by you wonderful ladies!

BTW, I love your description. Phenomen'eyes does look just like a cat-o-nine tail. Sweet, the R&D folks at Givenchy are some closet S&M freaks. lol

Oh and uh, I had a TOTAL stranger stop me in the dollar store to see what makeup I was wearing and where she could get it. She had me write it all down for her. Awesome.

Grrrrrr,

I just got my 3 boxes & they sent me Cherry Blossom instead of Jampacked. I called & they are sending me a Jampacked. I wish they would have sent me a Rich & Ripe by mistake instead, lol, its the one l/g I didn't order & don't have yet & am trying not to buy(but it would have been great if it was free!)

It's sex in a tube (wow..that sounded a little phallic, sorry). Seriously though, it is gorgeous. It is a deep berry/grape red. Totally classic looking. I love it. I am NW20-25 and my hair is about your colour (perhaps a touch lighter). Looking at your avatar, you would rock it hard. Do ittttt!

After reading many of the posts, I have decided to give Jampacked l/g a try. I'm not yet comfortable to do the lipsticks or mattenes just yet, but glosses will do for now.

So I went to pick up my haul and got a mac-over (on FOTD thread). haha..

I LOVE Kirsch! It's so pretty and very wearable. I feel like a diva right now hahahahaha.

I e-mailed my mom a picture of my make-over and she was like "I WANT WHAT IS ON YOUR LIPS!" hahaha.

I'm glad I wasn't sucked into buying Tempting quad. I feel that I have too many greens already.

The mineralize eye shadow in green (I forgot the name, brain fart) and Juxt looks a bit shimmery compared to Sharp. Bitten and Lime aren't as pigmented. Bio Green and Swimming are in a completely different color range than Sharp.

Maybe passing on Tempting quad was a bad idea. hahahahahahha

I got my Coc today as well.

So Scarlet l/s
Lightly Ripe l/s
Kirch Mattene l/s
Bing Mattene l/s
Plum de Bois blush
Overrich Pigment: Heritage Rouge, Vintage Gold, Blonde's Gold, Muserum Bronze and Copperbeam

I debating to go back and get "O' and Crème Cerise lipstick. Plus Cherry Blossom and Liqueur. I didn't get a good chance to check out their lipgloss. I didn't pickup any quads I have similars colors, but Tempting Quad did look nice. Now I need to play with new stuff. Thank you for all your ideas on the Bing and Kirch mattene lipstick. Enjoy your hauls ladies.

BTW, Mac-Ho(that is my new nickname for you), I believe we have tons of that torture device mascara here. I bought one the other day and they had a boatload. Let me know if you need a cp, same for you alli.

I havent gone for my makeover yet! Im sitting here clean, moisterized, prepped and primed, ready for my CoC makeover! Its 2:15 pm here and my makeovers at 4

Serioulsy, this is one of those collections that when you walk up to the counter and see it all, you just want to roll around naked in it. (Security!!!)

Damn...this collection has brought out my hidden-not-so-deep filthy side.
