Its a tricky one Tish, it can show up dark burgundy wine berry color on me (so tragic), so I need to use a nude lipstick, then a liner, then so scarlet, then a touch of a brighter red lippie in the very center, and a nice gloss.

I feel ya, it doesn't work out of the tube for me either... I also go to put it on and then Im like "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what is that!" haha!

Oh, Stowaways. So unloved when you came out, so now you're damn hard to find, and people usually want a lot of money for you! I'm glad I got you on the cheap, and you did surprise me in how nice you are. I love the yellow, but that's not surprise.

TISH, try topping it with a lipgloss that makes the color a bit more subdued, like Underage or something.

Randomly the Stowaway quad is still available on the Nordstrom website.

I wear mine applied directly and ALWAYS get compliments when I do. But I have always been able to pull off dark lippies, its the blue based pinks I have real issues with :|

I always find it funny when people are hawking products that are supposedly rare on eBay for exorbitant amounts of money when they're available or soon to be available soon. Like with people selling Petticoat for 50 bucks when it retails for like 25 now.

Did any of you hear/check out the Chanel Les Noirs Collection? I just posted on it in my blog, but its 3 dark lipsticks nearly identical to the CoC mattenes, and then 3 polishes.
