Althoasugh some of the less popular stores occasionally have a few left over items from past collections. My bf got me Shadowy Lady quad at Christmas last year from a mac counter I always forget about. I've been wanting Spiced Chocolate and Tempting quads for ages

I totally agree about missing out on awesome collections i did aswell, it sucks but on the bright side there is still so many fab ones to come

I am eagerly anticipating Fall so I can rock CoC looks again-especially the spiced chocolate quad! I know I can use it now, but I can't resist bright colors in the summer time.

I just bought the spiced chocolate quad (for its retail price...it was used twice)....it should be here in a week or two...I have wanted it for a while

Can anyone recommend some awesome "looks"/tuts to do with it? I already have some ideas...just love those colors and am excited to get them!

Although I like the Spiced Chocolate Quad it isn't my favorite of the bunch. I find that I use the Shadowy lady quad so much. Smudge Violet is one of the best shadows that MAC has ever made IMO. I almost want to buy a b/u of the quad at the CCO but I don't need another shadowy lady e/s or deep truth e/s. One is enough of those!

^ I know! I wish they sold Smudge Violet on it's own! Is it worth it to buy the quad at the CCO ($24.50) for just that one shadow?!? I already have 2 deep truths and shaowy lady.

So all these new posts that I've been seeing about Cult of Cherry being a million times better than this current Makeup Arts Cosmetics collection made me look at some old swatch threads and I've got to say: you guys were completely right!

Oh yeah - I am so drooling looking at the quad swatches and wishing that I would've discovered MAC a year ago.

Since I can't go back in time to buy those beautiful gorgeous quads (how I wish I could lol) I decided that I'll just go to allcosmeticswholesale.com and buy the Tempting quad. I really want the Spiced Chocolate as well but can't afford to spend $69.99 on it! so I'm going to create my own. So far I know that some good dupes for those shadows are:

Spiced Chocolate = Embark

Sweet Chestnuts = Cranberry

Brash = Coppering

I need help with the last one though. What's a good dupe for Nanogold? The only ones I can think of are Et Tu Bouquet and Motif. Are those pretty good dupes?

Agreed. MAC should release Smudge Violet e/s on it's own so that I can get another one as well as Dark Edge. I own two Shadowy Lady e/s and I like it. Even though I found Spiced Chocolate Quad on ebay for $69.99 and I'm going to take a risk and get it and I'm not going to hold back.

I use shadowy lady the most (I just love blues and purples)
Tempting Second most... I adore Sharp, its a lovely yellow green.

I have to totally agree!!! My favourite was the Tempting quad which I thoroughly adore (and desperately seeking another!) and use a LOT - the colours in that quad rock!!!

I was tempted (wink) to buy the Tempting quad but I can dupe 3 of the 4 colors...and the greenish one...I just don't wear that color really. It's not my fave. I love cranberry, burgundy color combos
